      This was one of the few Filson jackets that I hadn't seen in person. I finally saw it and then had to buy it immediately. It will be an everyday jacket during the winter in NYC for me.

      Just an amazing jacket. 8.5-oz. 100% cotton oil finish Shelter Cloth lined with 24-oz. Mackinaw Wool.
      I'll post images if anyone is interested in what it looks like.

      How are the sized?

        They are huge. This is a medium and I can even wear the small, but it was a tad tight.

              With the weather still being crazily unpredicatable here it was time to change things up a bit so this months outwear of choice is this super warm little lovely,

                Alright. I need an excellent down jacket for less than $800, without velcro, has ribbed cuffs, thigh length, press snap closure, heavy YKK zipper (or of equal quality), little to no branding, a hood of some sort that does not necessarily need to be fur trimmed and made in either Canada or USA.

                      middle finger to snow.  i hate, hate, hate snow.  usually makes me stay home & lose a day of work cause my kids school close at the first sign of white (pause)  then i have to dig out my low car as well as my wife's truck  😠

                      nah fuck that, side ways rain any day of the week as opposed to snirt (snow + dirt makes snirt)

                      whoops, this ain't the rant thread, f^ck it haven't gotten off a good madmonday rant in a few hours

                        Well, we can agree to disagree. I would rather be cold and dry than cold and wet is all I am saying. Oh and an IH Poncho fashioned after a Vintage 50's Army Military GI Rubberized Poncho, would be ILL!

                          thought they were working on something based off of what holla sent in a few months back?  fishtail would be dope as well, only problem would be the pre order & the wait on them.

                          funny giving it abit of thought i wonder if it would go under triple works as a long coat on any sort of bike isn't a good look  😠

                          feel you lando, but from where i'm standing raining washes away & snow i have to deal with days after the event.  i just rather take my medicine in one dose & be done with it.  no worries, you know how i do, posts never personal  😃

                                    You are right on both accounts. I have the OG one. Grabbed it from J.Crew a few years back while they were carrying MF. So good!

                                      I had high hopes for the Mulholland Master when it was first announced but after i saw it i thought it was rather to fussy and just to similar to a Belstaff RallyMaster in the end.

                                      As for J Crew they do carry some really brilliant brands every now and again and to be honest their own efforts are none to shabby either.

                                        hat is jcrew from like 15 yrs ago when they just made & sold those barn coats & those roll necks

                                        the bag is a ten year old bag i got as a gift when i thought i wanted to do something in academia or something in general with my life.

                                        think i am going to start doing these as i have a bunch of outerwear, but i hate standing in the cold taking pictures  😠

                                          You are not the only one dude, a wee gander at the adidas thread gives you a small squint to what i hold in the outerwear dept.
