DRATS! Amos ran out of the canvas for my work jeans
No big for now, he got something in that's a bit different color wise that he'll be making a sample from soon. Then I'll decide if it's a go. Really hoping for a crazy robust pair of non-denim pants, variety and all that -
Nice! I’m waiting on a pair of those Sage cargos at the moment too

@Brock I definitely was happy to see him post those cargos, can't wait to see other colors too.
I just finally got in my 16oz japanese melange canvas pants, it took a few weeks longer than anticipated, but he emailed me eventually to let me know that the delay was due to running out of the melange canvas, and then running shipping issues w/ the fabric supplier he imports from when he re-ordered.
After a huge delay he finally received more of the fabric, but it was also a much different lighter color. He said sorry he's unable to do them in the same color I ordered online which was a bit of a bummer, and offered to refund me if I didn't like the diff color canvas. I decided to go ahead and stick w/ it, and I couldn't be more happy with the pants! The quality is really nice, and the material is very thick. With those 2 things combined, there's no way these are gonna fall apart from hard use at work. From a distance almost just look like a solid grey, but when you get closer you can see the separate colors. The melange canvas definitely stands out from the crowd, but also isn't too flashy!

I was just looking at grabbing a pair of these!! First time I've seen the ivory in the wild!!

Reviving this thread with a couple cross posted photos. These are my favorite easy pants and my most comfortable pair of pants that I own currently!
-
Those are sweet @Brock the short inseam really compliments the wide hem in a way I wouldn’t have figured.
Super happy to see you on here. You inspired me with so many photos these past couple years.
-
Thanks Jordan I agree. I originally hemmed them for comfort and breathability for summer wear but it works out lol.
Cheers man

I've got a couple of pairs of Easy Pants, and I've been living in them for the last two years. The first is in a herringbone with a woven pinstripe. Modelled here at the Dwarfie Stane on Hoy, a 5,000 year old Neolithic tomb.
The second is in a cotton / linen blend denim, which can be seen at the bottom of this shot of me trying on a lovely Sashiko shirt at Rivet and Hide in Manchester. (I really should have got that shirt...)
As @Brock said, they're really comfortable. Mine are wearing well and haven't had any blowouts as yet, despite being in a light fabric. I'm tempted by a pair in the camo fabric for travelling.

Awesome! They look great!
I have some easy shorts in the camo ripstop and they are amazing -
