Hey y’all, I don’t post on here a whole lot, but I’m just shy of a year owned, several washes in, I alternated between these and the Superblack version a lot this year, my evolution on these looks great, in my opinion.

Jeans look awesome, love the way they’re fading. On another note,do you have the Max’s Kansas City Album in your collection?
Thanks, and I do not! You’re talking about the compilation right? My father used to go to Max’s way back then.

Those are some serious meat hooks holding update dem jeans!
They’re hangers straight from self edge!

I can't count, nor do I want to count how many pair of IH jeans I own, but I have a habit of adopting a behavior and tossing away the reasoning and now I'm wondering whether I've been doing things kinda incorrectly, which is a long way of saying "I've got an embarrassingly noobie question for you guys".
Should I size down slightly and stretch the jeans to get the ideal fade/fit? I ask because all of my recent purchases have been for jeans that already fit out of the bag. So, if my fully stretched thigh measurement is 12.5", should I be buying a ~12.5" thigh or would it be better to go with a ~12.3" thigh and get that stretch?
I want to pick up a pair of these and the OD 888S and both of them have size that would fit comfortably right away and a size that would be a little tighter but I think I could stretch out to my preferred size.

Thigh stretch is a little hard to come by. The percentages are minimal, but .2” on a 12.3” thigh should be fine.
Personally I look for a smaller waist measurement than usual on the 888 because of the high rise. Seeing as this is 21oz I’d be extra careful to get the smallest waist I could, still with a comfortable thigh.

Exactly. The waistband gets a lot of pressure, so it stretches a lot. The thighs, not so much of either. Some people are more dedicated masochists than I, and will do squats and lunges and other activities to put pressure on the thighs and stretch them out. It will work, especially with this denim, but it's not as easy as getting the waist to enlarge.
