All right! I’ve been wearing these jeans for a couple days, and they’re great. I’m really liking the 888 cut. I haven’t done much that’s noteworthy, so far—just been working. I got Marcia to snap a few pics this afternoon when we let the dogs out.
Nico lives in his blanket, and it stinks to high heaven. I have a hard time getting him out of it to wash. Here’s a fit pic:

Lookin great @sabergirl ! great combo with the duck vest. and the smile

The waist is a little loose on me, but I don't think I would size down to 34 as they'd be tighter than I would want elsewhere. I'm hoping an 888 gets made in regular XHS one of these days.
You couldn’t tell from the pics. Agreed that the rest of the cut is good on you and hell yes to 888-XHS.

They look great on you @sabergirl.
Whats the story with the 2 door sedan?

Truthfully, I don't know very much about the chevy, @bryaneidins70. My upstairs neighbor has lived in this house since he was a kid. He loves cars, and often buys newer ones to fix up and flip for fun. I'm sure it was a project of his many years ago, that now just sits. I've never seen it move–and I've never asked him if it even has an engine in it.
It's got an impressive verdigris, though, doesn't it? Or maybe that's algae.

That clunker makes a good prop in the background regardless. Looking forward to your 888 tour

Today I drove over to the neighboring town that my neurologist practices out of for my 3-month blood tests, and appointment. She has to monitor my blood pretty closely with the drug I am taking to hopefully slow the progression of MS. Being all the way out there is a great excuse to visit a good friend of mine at the Thai restaurant he works at. I always get whatever the chef’s special is. The woman who cooks most of the time is also the owner, and it’s excellent. Thai basil today, with a fried duck egg:After that, I had my appointment at the doctor’s office, then went over to the hospital for my blood tests. Obligatory bathroom selfie outside the lab:After all that, I came back home. It was pretty rainy and windy all day, so I finished the rest of my book waiting for FedEx to show up. They didn’t. Now I’m Netflixing and enjoying a whiskey waiting for the wife to get home from work.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I’m fairly new to the vest game, but it been nice to be able to rock some heavy fabrics when the weather is too hot for a jacket.
Thanks for the well wishes. MS is a weird thing. I only got diagnosed less than a year ago, and so far I haven’t relapsed, since so maybe the drugs are helping? Or maybe I’m just not progressing very quickly. I know that my quality of life is still very high. Besides some fatigue and weird burning foot pain, I don’t really get impacted by it that much on a daily basis.

Had a couple days of relaxation, with sort of rainy weather. I made some pasta—just jar sauce with beef and fresh veggies—but turned out good.
I’ve been trying to read more for pleasure and spend less time on my phone. Definitely got the reading, but I’m still super addicted to my iPhone.
I ran into a hideous Lamborghini the other day on my way home from the gym:
Yesterday I had to take the dogs in for their senior checkups at the vet. Nico just cowered in their bag the whole time. When we got home they were extra lazy after all the poking and prodding.
Now it’s post season baseball!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Once, at a job site, I made a similar comment when a Lambo that exact color drove by. A friend replied that all Lambos are ridiculous, so if you have one, you should lean into that- absurd color, zebra interior, whatever.
After I thought about it, I gotta admit, he was right.
