My dude Jax doesn’t do so well in certain settings. I took him for some wine tasting and am able to chalk it up as a win in our book

Love seeing all of these happy animals on this thread!
Update on Indigo (our golden boy): the vet today checked him out after weeks of steroids. After the initial biopsy came back negative, he thought the swelling in Indigo's mouth was just inflammatory tissue. Today he reiterated the same and gave us more steroids and antibiotics because he thinks it is infected...which to us is better than cancer!
I was worried today that the vet would want to try another biopsy to check again for cancer. So hopefully, since he said the past two visits that it was inflammatory tissue, that this is the case. It will be three more weeks before he is checked out again.
Edit: good boy

Whilst P and I are away, Luke and Courtney, our house/cat-sitters, have been trying desperately to "encourage" Tiger & Pusskin to acknowledge they actually exist and join them in the basement apartment. Today, they succeeded.....
I'm pretty sure that illegal substances were involved......

Looks like we will have to decide when to put Indigo down. The mass on his upper palette has grown out through to his face. The mass is poking out of his cheek now, below his eye. One more biopsy to determine if it's cancer. At this point the quality of life is questionable and looking at maybe 3 more months. We learned this today and have been crying a lot and just hugging him. He's not even two years old yet.
This is me and him today on the way home from the vet after his surgery. He is happy I shared my turkey burger with him. Such a good boy. I'm smiling to keep his spirits up in his last days.
