Show us your sneakers
-
Hi all,
the major amount of people who are wearing true denim in my country are wearing eiather workboots or sneakers. So, we have a generic topic about boots(Show as your boots), maybe it would be also good to have such topic for thouse who likes sneakers.
I am personaly wear both, boots and sneakers depending from the weather or mood.
I want to share the pictures of my new sneakers. Thouse just arrived from the store today.
I am not very good at english, so I will steal some description from the web store.
This collaboration sneaker with TSPTR is based on the military training shoes of the 1950s. These are made at one of the few remaining vulcanized footwear factories in Kurume, Japan under the supervision of the John Lofgren footwear team.some details:
-
Heavy-duty eyelets
-
100% cotton Japanese canvas
-
Taped seams for comfort
-
Doubled stitched stress points for strength
-
Double insoles
-
Handmade in Japan
-
These run large by about one half-size
they have made an impression of very well made product, with good quality and attention to details. really heavy-duty sneakers - this is what I like most, when the product is made with attention to the quality, not like many others with attention to cutting the costs…
The upper material looks soft, durable and has nice deep navy color, I like such solid "more formal" style. the canvas used in the sneakers is made in Japan by a very famous canvas textile mill called Fujikinbai. It is a high density, high tension weave, made from Japanese cotton. Zero shortcuts were taken when making these sneakers.
Nice white interior and soft midsole:
Rubber sole:
Thank you for reading…

if he has more than 3 pieces of adidas in an outfit, he's either got a lucrative endorsement deal or he's going to stab you at the train station…

Or he's a member of Korn

@Bulatik85 Those are GREAT! And yes they are high quality. They are the same manufacturer as the Sugar Cane x John Lofgrens, and the other TSPTR shoes. Like these ones made out of Japanese denim.

Haha… to be fair I have owned a tee or two and a couple of the classic zip up tops, but it's mostly about the trainers. I have about 20 pairs that only rarely get worn now.

@Filthy nice sneakers, I am planning to buy them next…
they are the first Chuck Taylor clones I've seen that fit my E width wide feet. They are so nice.

I got new, New Balance. These things are awesome. It great that the soles are not white!

@Filthy I just bought a pair of Buzz Ricksons basketball shoes in a size 9E. They are very nice and really comfortable. I recommend them if you prefer an E width fit I'll post a few picks

Twinsies!

@Chris - I’m tempted to buy the hi tops as well - they are that freaking good. Top it off with being 50% off, and I’m one happy customer - even if their shipping sucked and arrived the day I left for vacation…

Might be a bit early for you, Appfaff, but their kids shoes are pretty good, too. We got a pair of the Phillips for both my son and daughter and they love them.
As a bonus, you can even run them through the washing machine on the gentle cycle. They air dry in a day, probably less if you put them in direct sunlight.
