Sneakers

Hi folks!
I know, it‘s winter time…
However, I was just searching for some high quality sneakers but always ended up with the usual Converse, Nike, perhaps Buttero and so on.
I am looking for a pair of sneaker with a (build) quality comparable to Wesco, Viberg, maybe Redwing. Built to last. Converse last just half a season until the outsole welt comes of or the inner lining starts to tear.
Know what I mean?
So, what sneakers are you wearing? Any ideas for a durable and sneaker-like shoe? High or low doesn‘t really matter, sizes should run up to UK12/US13.
Suggestions welcome!!!

Viberg is actually making sneakers now, but IMO they look like New Balance wanted to be Hender Scheme for a day. (If you are not familiar with the latter, they are a Japanese brand, not in the Converse style, very well crafted, almost always veg tanned natural leather, and eye-wateringly expensive).
EDIT: Truman boot company has started making attractive sneakers that look like Converse in terms of basic form, but appear to be stitched and not vulcanized, so they may have a durability and resoling advantage. For vulcanized, Converse-style, I have some Flat Head sneakers made of calf that I love, some John Lofgrens in frogskin camo, and some Frye tanned calf ones. I commonly wear good ole Adidas Sambas. All of these have lasted for me, but perhaps given your experience with Converse this is not what you are looking for. I hear very good things about Maison Margiela's hyped German Army Trainers, and I love that style of shoe, but I can't speak from personal experience (the Sambas are my version of GATs).
Iron Heart makes some vulcanized sneakers too out of 21oz and Superblack denim (IIRC). They look fantastic and everyone seems to love theirs.

Take a look at Common Projects @jay-cy

is there any online store stocking the Flat Head sneakers?
Can‘t find one with Google.
The S&SxTSPTR also look quite nice. Does somebody have experience with sizing? I usually wear 13 in Wesco, 12 in Viberg. They are stated to run a half-size large but end up at EU47…As to Flat Head, I know that Self Edge carries them, or at one time did–I don't see them today, but in looking for them, I did find some Lofgrens on sale: https://www.selfedge.com/footwear?filter=43
I got my Flat Head sneakers from https://global.rakuten.com/en/ , but I cannot find them there either--apologies, they may have been discontinued.

I don't often wear sneakers but when I do I wear Shoes Like Pottery. I'm a big fan. John Lofgren also makes a very good sneaker from what I've heard. If you're looking for a bit more modern silhouette I hear Common Projects are pretty good.

jordans, air maxes, NB 998/997/1600, common projects, yeezys, visvim fbts.. take your pick..

Id recommend a pair of rick owen ramones high / low, you can normally pick them up in the sales. If you go for the mainline, the leather is built for a beating and the soles will also last you for years.
I picked up a pair with horsehide leather about 3 years ago and they are still going strong.

Perhaps the Brütting Diamond Brand is something for you @jay-cy
Handmade sneakers. On the Diamond web page you can find them up to size UK12, but as I now , they build their sneakers up to size14!
Watch out this Astroturfer on the main page in german. Click ‘Größe bitte wählen ‘.If you like their style, it is worth to contact them.
Here you can see my beloved ones .

i wear the Scarpas the most. super comfy and had em >1year. PF Flyers are comfy too but dont wear em that often. interestingly enough the US made ones owned by New Balance now. and of course, New Balance. my go-to for 30+ years. and of course, the obligatory Crocs.
