Hi guys ,
New to the forum . Waiting on a new batch of 666's so i can join the IH gang but been a raw denim fan for several years now. I am from UK but living in Singapore and love my trainers/sneakers however the high humidity over here ruins the glue so i have walked out the house looking great on more than one occasion only to return in trainers without any soles , and man do they make a mess when they disintergrate , much to the amusement of my friends . Stopped buying Nike's for that reason and more into adidas (check out the zx500 og in grey and red …nice) and NB. Take a look at the link below the 996 revlites ........

Another link to some more 996…......
Initially I did not like the look of the blue ones but a sales guy was wearing them here in Singapore ( Leftfoot) and they looked really good in the flesh.
Anyways hopefully i can grab some Grey …......very nice and understated / undercover which is how i like my trainers to be.

^Extremely jelly.
Those are one of the best ever. Perfect colorway.

Those are the New Balance x Nonnative 997's from 2012. They're actually a hybrid between 997 and 998, which makes sense considering those are quite possibly the best of the 99x series. Still, I remember hesitating to cop them when they were released, due to their high price.
Which was obviously a mistake, as they were sold out soon after and have afterwards become one of the more legendary NB collabs.

New Balance is now offering Cone Mills denim in their custom-built 574s (like was used in the 1300CD) recently featured on Rawr Denim, here:
http://www.rawrdenim.com/2014/06/new-balance-x-cone-mills-1300cd-denim-sneakers/I thought those ones were way too expensive, and didn't care for the white soles. But, you can custom design your own using either raw or washed Cone denim. I emailed them to make sure that the denim was the same, and it is.
I got a pair ordered today, and they were $150 (on sale, normally $170) with free shipping. They make a Horween sneaker, and I wish they offered this option for leather, too. But they don't.
I will post pics when I get them. It should be next week, because of the holiday.

I think the black suede, raw denim combination turned out pretty swell. I agree with the notion that most NBs are 'ugly as sin'. (See the unpopular opinions thread) But, I think these are pretty sweet looking and the fit is perfect. These also have custom orthodics in them to help my knees and back out a little. I'm definitely happy with them. I just wish the raw denim was ultra -heavy Iron Heart… But the color is actually pretty close to raw IH-25s.
