Luggage Bags and Packs

thanks @pechelman i've got two of them, too big for what I need here

@endo most of the options I can think of are on the expensive side.
I like a lot of what Fjallraven offers. The Travel Pack and Split Pack have compartments, but are more backpack focused. They do offer a few duffle packs.
The Jack Wolfskin Traveltopia Duffle is another backpack focused duffle bag.
The Peak Design Travel Duffle is another option. (The link is to the Australian page.) They sell packing cubes sized to fit it, which would help with organisation.
The Evergoods Transit Duffle 35 looks neat. Like the Peak Design, it's compatible with a range of packing cubes.
The Filson Surveyor Pullman is on sale. I'm not sure if they would ship to the EU. (There is a local store, but it isn't on sale.)
Going a bit more expensive, the Defy Rover is probably what you're looking for. The defy15 code might give you 15% off.
The newly-released Blue de Chauffe Woody Business Bag might be a bit small and a bit expensive. The Zoom Travel Bag looks lovely, but would blow your budget...

I also love Briggs & Riley. The Baseline Duffel or cabin bag could work. https://www.briggs-riley.com/collections/duffle-bags?gad_source=1

I am using the 48 Hour Tin Cloth Duffle Bag from Filson for carry on that is quite large, but still fits (unless filled tight) under the seat in front. It does not have too many internal compartments though, and is overpriced significantly (at least in Europe), if not at a sale.

What size (liters) are you looking for @endo ?
max. IATA cabin size

Thanks, guys! Really appreciate your suggestions. Some are not my style and some cost more than I want to spent. I do like the Boundary Supply Errant and the Peak Design Travel Duffel. Both look cool but I don‘t think I can get them overhere. I ordered the DSPTCH Utility Tote Portrait Dyneema, although not suggested to me and on the smaller end, but it may serve my needs. Will see, otherwise it has to go retour. Thanks again!

Thanks. The black hole 40 is smaller than every iata dimension fwiw.

@Giles If yall made patches, I would buy a couple for sure!

@endo there is a Peak Design EU store.
The DSPTCH tote looks good, in particular it's a light bag. I find that the issue with carry-on luggage is the 10 kg (or less) weight limit that EU and Australian carriers impose.
Hopefully the size works for you, if not some compression packing cubes will allow you to squeeze more in.

Thanks @Graeme will have a look.
I was also impressed by the (lack of) weight of the DSPTCH tote, and it‘s presumed durabilty. Will see if the limited volumen can be enhanced by an attachable pouch, or a small second bag like a messenger. Usually don‘t need much stuff for the weekend. -

Actually, I cancelled it. I did not notice that it was shipping from outside of the UK and they wanted £25 for delivery (plus potential for import taxes). So once they have confirmed, I will get this one:

Won't be mixing that up with anyone else's black bag.....

DSPTCH Utility Tote is my everyday bag. The Tote Insert is such a good addition. https://www.dsptch.com/collections/pack-add-ons/products/tote-insert-portrait

I have a 14" MBP, do you think I'll fit that in the 13", or will I need the 15" landscape?
