IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Oh man I love these fekks…My pair have been evolving & shaping into some sick looking bad ass mama jamas. I have taken these things threw the ringer including playing soft ball in them. My creases are all settled and are now laying pretty flat like a slinky. Going to wait on the 2 or 3 months mark to wash but before that I have a few things up my sleeve to help finish them off. Pics coming soon.
To Be Continued…...

I noticed a big change to my 666xhs. I tried out the freeze ur jeans technique to help with any smell. When i took them out their texture changed as well as the flat card board ass part actually loosened up and have sucked to my behind. What do u think cause the change..is it the moisture from freezing and then defrosting when taken out?
-
^ you might be right. Think this, when defrost, there would be water condensation yeah? So these gets soaked into the denim and thus softening it? Make sense? I don't know. Just guessing though.
but to get rid of smell, I leave mine under the sun. It certainly helps a lot! Plus it gets rid of the itch I was having. (Not sure if that's my mind playing tricks on me since I haven't washed my jawns)
-
Thats what i thought…They honestly feel so different now in a positive way of course. I think on my 301s i just bought i will give them a night in the freezer as well.

i love your enthusiasm about it all DD. . . continue to experiment & do what works for you. in a while you will look back & smile at all the things you tried. these jeans will be very special to you as your old lady is prego & carry a little DD. congrats on stumbling upon IH & take it slow so you can take it all in. nothing happens before it's time.

Thanks MM, Slow & steady wins the race as they say ..Not something I generally live by as I like going 150MPH with the top down. but of course i'm a true New Yorker & we like fast cars and easy woman ..But who doesn't
-
ah, you are right, but i didn't marry the girl that gave it up quick & i don't drive the kiddies around town toooo fast. they are your jeans & you will do your thing & appreciate them, BUT i am sure you are going to look at this period & smile at all you are doing to get some fades.
again i appreciate your enthusiasm & great nature on the forum as you breath a lot of life into the place
hate reading my posts & realizing i'm an old foggy around here

Let me tell u I turned 36 in April and have been feeling quite old…This forum def helps me feel a bit younger at heart. We get to talk about our love of clothes which to me is like spending some time with my high school friends breaking bread
-
Wow 20 something sounds good to me. As for my enthusiasm not any different than any of you. I mean I love this stuff just like u..Maybe i just blabber more lol
-
Mate, don't change! Let's be honest here, you do talk a hell of a lot - 770 posts in 6 weeks must be close to a forum record - but you wear your heart on your sleeve and that's a beautiful thing.
Regarding the age thing, I'm approaching the 40 mark, but try not to act it. I believe the concept of maturity is widely misinterpreted in our society. Apart from the fact that my hangovers get worse and worse, life has got better as I've aged.
DD, bring it on, and keep having fun wherever possible!
Yeah I know I'm off topic…

Righto, time I got back on topic and contribute to this thread. Introducing my 666XHS - just a few days old. They had a traumatic journey to my house, but now they're safe and sound.
Obviously it's early days, and they need to settle a fair bit, but I'm loving the fit already. The rise is higher than I'd usually go for, but I'll probably never wear these with a tucked-in shirt, so it doesn't matter.
Yep, still got the jar of pasta supporting the old couch. New couch (oil-pull leather) being made to spec as I write this…can't wait.
The pockets are too rigid to bend right now, so when I walk the bit under the pocket pinches my arse with every step. Sensual? No, just a little painful.
Indoor closeup (artificial light)
Closeup in sunshine…colour looks quite different eh?
Shadow (plus reflection) shot.
These pictures brought to you by Big Brother and the Holding Company - Janis Joplin's finest hour and arguably one of the best albums of the late 60's or early 70's.Thanks guys…

Same initial issue..Tried to tuck my tee's & shirts at 1st which bombed miserably
