IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Yep, I think it is a tallness thing. I also suffer from "skinny bastard" syndrome, which means the rise always looks higher than it actually is. If I tuck in to my 666XHS, I look the same as you, MP.
Seul and Matt, you guys obviously have the right proportions to pull it off.
Horses for courses, eh.

After building up to it with a few short stints, I've finished my first full day of wearing the 666XHS.
I didn't get the hip bruises that others spoke of, but i do have lovely red raw skin behind my knees where the denim folds were rubbing against me as I moved around. The arse pinching that I spoke of has eased off now, as the pockets are starting to bend a little with movement. My hands are very blue - I didn't think I was touching my jeans that much, but I guess I can't help it.
It's going to be a beautiful journey with these, although they have serious competition with my INDOs at present. I'm loving having two fairly similar cuts but made from such different denim.
Anyway, my body needs a short rest from the 666 punishment, so today I'm into the BB overdyes…mmm, comfort.

I think i have to wash my 666xhs?? I am getting these lil holes at the points of a few of the creases behind my knee and stacks.
-
They aren't yet holes but they are small lil points that are frayed with the white thread showing. I think theres 3 from what iv seen. I really dont want to wet them just yet. If anything i'll give em a soak and retire them till the end of summer and then get in some hard wear for the months leading up to the SExIH party in OCT. My 301s will be here today so they should keep me occupied
-
Ok ill take some now while im taking pics of the 301s as well
-
Yea he seriously has hands down the best pair i have seen with Matt a close second..I think thats his name. I have seriously been abusing these doing everything in them. I will chill out on them now that my 301s are here which feel like they are 21 oz denim wearing a Halloween custom of a 12 oz denim

Alright guys so here's the deal: temperature's going up… I hear you shouting "AGAIN WITH THE BLOODY TEMPERATURE!.." but hey: 24 C°/ 75F is too hot for these...
I've worn them at least 4 times/ week for exactly 6 months (Nov 04 til May 20th with two weeks of no wear), so I'm good. Now 6 months of PBJ...
So: they're being gently machinewashed as we speak as they did encounter some abuse the last month... Better pics tomorrow, but for now... Here's one of the original hems vs. their colour right now, and some random snaps...
-
Lovely, they've changed so much in a relatively short space of time. I look forward to seeing them after another 6 months of wear.
Alternatively, you could move to England :). 13 degrees here at the moment.
Reminds me to take some more pics of mine. Before 8 months turns into 9. Maybe Tuesday.

What: and pay 5 quid for a decent beer?.. No fanx!..
-
since i´ve never saw such kinda rips after only just one month of wear i´d suggest you to stop using that sandpaper too often mate!
I live and I learn I guess..I sprayed starch on the creases and the denim got super dry about 2 weeks ago. I am mad I did that because I know those tiny holes that are deep inside the smaller creases will become a problem later

Yes, that's a good point…
