had them for 4 wks. I need to get these hemmed a couple inches shorter. I live in Minneapolis, USA. Feeling like it is worth sending them out to get proper chain stitched… Any suggestions, recommendations?
Thanks
Blue Owl Workshop in Seattle, no question. Jay is a great dude and is the only person I will send my jeans to for hemming, even though I live in Raleigh NC and the Raleigh Denim Curatory is 15 min away. 24hr turnaround and spectacular service and quality hemming job. $25 per pair for hemming, plus return shipping. Just put a note in with your request (thread color, length, whatever) and contact info and he'll get you sorted out.
Sent them. Thanks.
Blue Owl was exellent, the hem looks exactly the same as factory. I would highly recommend Jay to do any hemming you need.

how long do your jeans usually bleed for? i've been wearing mine for about 2 weeks now and i have immense fear of wearing anything white or light colored.. 2 of my white t-shirts have been stained indigo permanently and I don't want to stain anything else..

I would not soak at this early stage as this denim gets stiffer at that time and too much unnecessary indigoloss on that beauty IMHO. wear a bit until it settled and then soak, I did it after about 2 months, some do it earlier, some later, some never ;). Dont fear the indigo, it should be washable
If you wear this type of jeans you almost always have stains mate
