@goldstone0 i might be one dissenting opinion on your fit based on how you want them to fit. You really dont want a tight XHS fit as sabergirl and a few others have mentioned in all the other threads. I bought some 666's in this same denim that ostensibly fit about the same or arguably worse than your pictures above. After a scalding hot soak, literally pouring hot 190F water over them from a tea kettle, with a few drops of soap, and lots of agitation, they fit great and just how I wanted. The waist looks a touch big but it really also depends on how you want them to fit, if you wear a belt, and how they fit in the thighs/legs, etc. They will stretch back out to this state if and only if you put them under tension. So if the waist shrinks, it really wont stretch back out more than it needs to.

@pechelman @goldstone0 I like to size up with XHS and need a belt when I wear all four of my pairs. I prefer this but if it doesn't bother you, it can definitely work. I would guess the majority of folks don't do this though.

@Oaktavia same here. In all the other 666's besides the ducks and XHSib I'm a 34. I went 35 in this denim and have been super happy I did. Sort of fits a lot like a higher rise / snug top block version of a 634.

@pechelman forgive me but wouldn't you have achieved the same effect by taking your usual size but a 555? The ideal for me would be to have the waist of the 777 and the thighs, knees and ankle opening of the 555, the exact opposite of what you like if I haven't misunderstood

Thanks everyone for your comments.
@twin I have sized up. I've only got a 555 to go off. I found myself pulling them up a lot so thought that the 777 might sit in the right spot (I think I'm correct in that assumption).
The good news is that I bought a size 33 (32s were out of stock). I just checked and there was a 32 in stock so I grabbed it and will compare the two.

@pechelman @goldstone0 I always go with my size 34 since high school.

Size 32 arrived and they fit much better. The wife agrees, even though she thinks 25oz jeans are hilarious.
-
they’ll fit perfectly after the soak

I'm on the fence for getting one of these. I have a 777n in size 33 that fits perfect for me, would a size 33 also work with this much heavier fabric?

@goldstone0 Look great
