Perhaps it was merely a strategic move by G to reduce his workload??? [emoji16]

I had an ENT consultation today. Part of it involved having a fibre optic instrument inserted into my nose. This felt like a scene from a sci-fi film, and isn't an experience I'd recommend.
Anyway it turns out I've got a
deviantdeviated septum, and enlarged inferior Turbinates.So sometime next year I'll be getting things bashed into shape, and drilled, bored and countersunk. Sounds painful…
[/quote]The first night and morning after will suck since you'll probably have splints in your nose. After you learn to breath with them and the swelling starts to subside you'll be good. I don't know how they do things in Australia, but I always treat my ENT patients as high risk for post-op nausea. The positive thing is that you'll probably breathe and sleep a LOT better.

Thanks @Anesthetist. My nose has always been blocked, so this will hopefully clear it and stop me from snoring so badly.
A friend who used to work as an operating theatre nurse in Melbourne knows the ENT specialist I saw. She said he's well known in the field, and so he should do a good job.

@Sam:
I too am paying the price as i have to read giles's emails as he drives and i get car sick when reading. All hath been punished.
Poor @Sam - no it was definitely not his fault - just a set of weird circumstances (and me being clumsy)! Fortunately @Giles has been pretty calm, he's been through so many laptop disasters in recent years that he now accepts it as part of his colourful life…!

i'm not sure where to ask this but i thought a general question here might suffice. have anybody here gotten white/off white leather seats in their car and regretted it? the reason i'm asking is because i've selected off white leather seats for my new car and i'm not sure if it was the right move considering denim….

I think you might live to regret it. Either you'll have to use a seat cover when you have a new pair of jeans, or a jacket, or you'll stain the leather, which could be cool, or could ruin the look–depending on how much you care about such things.

What these fine young people said rings true for me too! I tend to avoid light coloured leather seats for precisely that reason. Especially if you have the indigo duck, which bleeds like f**k

Right. See how glum he looks in the icon? It's a wonder you weren't asked for blessings. Brother Giles.

You'll have indigo seats in no time, what's the worry ::)
hahaha white to indigo and fade it back to white again. just a continuous indigo transfer happening right there.
honestly, i wouldn't worry too much if i did go with the white. i'm leaning towards it because i like the look of it contrasting with the black dash. it'll spur me to really protect the leather seats like a baby.
