When you've been defending your clients from a case for almost seven years(!!!) and then the judge says words to the effect of "the claims were always speculative and should never have been brought" in his summing up, it feels fucking great.
Congratulations, I know the feeling all too well. In which fields did you specialise? IT/IP here.

I’m a commercial litigation generalist, but with a focus on doing the discovery. So these guys really wound me up a year or so ago because they were trying to plug holes in their case by casting as wide a net as they could over our documents, asking me endlessly to include more keywords, or increase the date ranges for searches, or go collect data from some other device.

This morning, I turned in my last assignment for my last master's degree class. I majored in Master of Arts in Education/Curriculum and Instruction. I currently have a 3.96 GPA and a 99.5% in my latest class. I turned in all of my assignments a week early so I will not get my final grades for my final class until sometime next week. Feels good

A mix. I got funding for most of it, worked during, but also took out more student debt. Glad I did. Being able to do that research has fulfilled my life beyond any price.
