@neph93 they sound even better with a few drinks on a saturday night

@Filthy , thanks for the update on Hum. I was a fan of theirs, in the mid-to-late 90s. Out of nowhere, they stopped putting out new music. There stuff never quite caught on. I figured I'd never hear anything from them, again. Here's a couple "recognizable" ones, from that era…..

Yeah I hadn't heard of them until last week. I was surprised to see they were an older band because they kind of sound like Millennials. Either way good stuff.
I am in a terrible funk the last few days. Stuff like this kind of cheers me up. Idk why
I wish Phil's voice still sounded like this. I guess one's voice can only take so much of a beating?

@Oaktavia the vocals are fucking amazing ??? Great band… kind of like an Iron Maiden vibe too. I love it.

@Oaktavia you probably heard this band already. But the singer on this is probably my favorite since old Glen Danzig.
I think Solstice has a female singer now though, or they did for their latest release. I don't care for any of their older stuff prior to 2013.

@Filthy glad you enjoyed that song. I came across one of the artists while checking out tattoo artists. The dude I was looking as it Tas from Electric Wizard, from the albums Wizard Bloody Wizard, Legalise Drugs & Murder.

Upon checking out his other bands, Mirror was one that stuck. Another band he plays in is called Satan's Wrath.
Which is a fun combination of thrash and black metal. Let me know what you think.
I loved listening to both of the songs from the band that you shared. Added them both to my February playlist.

These 2 aren't really my thang, I'm afraid. Idk why.

No worries man. On the topic of Iron Maiden, do you have any suggestions of similar sounding bands? I'm making a playlist for next weekend when I go to the beach.
I am nowhere near as clued in to metal as you guys, and I’m sure you’re both familiar with this band, but I love The Sword for some Maiden-esque metal.
