I come from a Mexican family, though most would never guess based on my red hair. May dad is Mexican and I grew up very close to the Mexican side of my family. We always have tamales on Christmas Eve. My grandma would spend days preparing them before our big family party on the 24th. She passed away a couple years ago and it was devastating. @goosehd many people love tamales with green chili. But I grew up eating them dry with eggs. So that’s how I prefer them.
Morgan, however, makes the best green chili!! That’s usually a fall dish for us so we’ve had it a couple times this season.
