Over 900 days meanwhile. The indigo weft is living a life on its own.

I find it still superhard to take accurate pictures of overdyed stuff. Today, during sunset however worked well.
Also my plan to wear it all winter is going great. I use it as a top layer above a woolen sweater and deck vest on milder days, with a down vest on top on colder ones and sometimes even instead of a shirt inside.
Hard to fade, but I feel, I have cracked the bonding of the black dye a bit by now.

Meanwhile I have 840 days down. While the front is holding up incredibly well, the backside is getting weaker in some areas.
Might have them repaired very soon to continue the wear journey.
@Asger-Ebdrup This looks great and seems to behave very similar to mine. Fading very slowly but when it happens, the fades look great🩵
Here is mine. I‘ll try to wear it all winter.
Maybe my favorite IH Jeans yet. Wearing only 1-2 a week due to other priorities in the rotation. But getting there.
Here‘s my gunpowder dyed Copeland.
Over 8 years old already. Used it as a jacket on an almost daily basis to start with.
As it shrank quite a bit during the washes, I use it as a wintershirt nowadays. Absolutely love it and it became incredibly soft and comfortable over time.
New set of pictures. Still wearing it super frequently. Combs and „stacks“ seem to settle now which also shorten the sleeves quite signifiantly (which is a good thing)
Wearing them daily lately. While summer was quite sweaty, I almost forgot that they are ridiculously comfortably as soon as the temps drop down. Especially considering the slimish fit and the 25oz….
Moving forward. Not as fast as the guys on the 19oz version, but I still love it.
Gave them their 4th wash after 431 days of wear. Somehow this time I ended up with marbling although I didn‘t change the washing routine too much. Maybe I used lower spins earlier Don‘t care too much to be frank as I think they will get less prominent with future wear and washes.
I just love this denim. „Only“ 474 days of wear and I plan to wear it till 1k
For the ones getting the SBG Type3: I can‘t wait to see heaviest faded ones in the future.
Can‘t remember that I have ever enjoyed a jacket so much. Fit might be a bit loser than the classic slim fit style for Type 3’s. But I wanted to fit even the thickest sweater I own (of course IH) underneath.
Bit more than 2 months in. Some slight evo ongoing but all in all still kind of new. No break in required at all.
I completed 500 days of wear recently. I also added a comparison shot to my SEXIH22-301s which I wore for 1000 days to see where I need to get.
The 25oz indigo-indigo is more challenging to fade, but the fabric also seems to be almost indestructable. So I expect further great fades but late destructions in the coming 500 days.

Decided to give them another 40 degree Celsius wash after 518 days. Not a big change but the colors and contrast seem to be a bit more flashy now
Gave them their 5th machine wash and few repairs lately. Almost 600 days down. I am sure they will easily last for 1000 days.
Have worn them for almost 500 days by now.
Absolutely incredible and I am still debating with myself, if I should do the same to the SBG Type3 once the modified version comes out.
@Jcaz6996 they look amazing man. And I have to agree on the part with the most comfortable pair. Mine has just reached 365 days and they are crazy soft:
400 days of wear completed. They are really fun to wear. Great mix of beefy fabric but still comfortable as sweatpants as all the other folks report about this denim.
A few quick shots after 400 days of wear. I feel the same as @AdamJ - at the beginning it feels like it takes forever but once the fades have started they can‘t be stopped anymore IMG_3863.jpeg
Little update. Definitely a very slow fader, but we are getting there. Promise!
