Day 73 - I freaking love these jeans. The cut is superb and super grateful for
All the sizing help I got from Adam and Graham online. Before this pair I just kept buying
The wrong size (usually too tight) in other brands and feels great to succeed.

Not sure if you can see the fades in these shots but they are fading surprisingly fast in the front upper and legs.
These jeans seriously put me in the best mood everyday. Cheers!

@neph93 After taking advice from here, I was able to use a brush to gently get out the stain with minimal water. Being with my 1 year old boy everyday, there will be many more stains. Prob almost everyday it’s all good tho!

Day 29 - feelin’ fine!  25 oz ib are hands-down the nicest jeans I’ve ever owned and they surprisingly breathe very well! Now that I’m used to the 634-xhs fabric, my 17 ounce samurai war model jeans feel pretty hot comparatively, even though it’s a lighter material. Anyway, enjoying these so much! Who said you cant buy happiness?! Doesn’t matter!

@Clint_D thanks! I found a decent plastic brush and was able to get most of the mess out!  and the fading goes on and on!!

Thanks everyone! I’m only on day 19 so I wanted to avoid washing. Otherwise I wouldn’t hesitate to just wash.
Prob best to just go for it though.

So I spilled trash on my jeans. I think it’s avocado not sure. I tried to spot clean it with a rag but it just kept pulling indigo off the Jean so I stopped 🥲You think I should just avoid cleaning this stain further (it’s not that bad) until my first wash? Not sure if rubbing it to much will leave a bald spot…what is y’all’s experience with spot cleaning this Jean? Washing in general?

Looking very sick! Has that fray on the cuff gone all the way through the fabric?
If so, do you just leave it as is or repair? You could drop the cuff in half and do the double roll up to change the position. Looks rad either way though!

@Alex_24 Thanks for the visual. Fades looking super unique!  Have you washed yours yet? Or are those fades strictly from wear?

@Oaktavia thx! It’s a modern Levi’s 1953 type 2. I love it bc of the history behind it (Elvis & many more) but IH and some other brands have even better versions IMO. Hope to get an IH one maybe next season. The type 2 overdue collab with self edge is very attractive!

@hoppy_IPA thank ya! These are the whites Cykel boot in brown rough out. They are partially machine built making them SLIGHTLY more affordable than the more popular Nomad by Whites, which is all handmade. A good alternative to Wesco! However I recently saw they have a 10-12 week wait.

I’m surprised these have such white fades. One has to ask where is the black weft?
Website says “…  and a reactive dyed black weft (that won't fade).”

They look amazing either way! Just thought it would be darker or the black would be more
Dominant.
