@Alex oh sweet! I was just going off of the 526J in the name. Looking back at @AdamJ's sample, I see the handwarmer pockets, so that makes sense. Modified for the win, I'll gladly take that. Feels more versatile IMO, but I'm tall, so I would say that haha.

RE: IH-526J-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
@Mizmazzle has there been any chatter about the specifics of this fit? @Alex - safe assumption that it's the same specs as the 526J, just SBG fabric?

RE: IHSH-396-BLK - 13.5oz Denim Western Shirt - Black
Got mine in yesterday, and am really impressed. Been wanting a great all-season black western that can fade, and this one checks the boxes. Really comfortable, soft and pliable, but still some crispness to it. For anyone on the fence, hoping this gives you the nudge!

RE: IHSH-396-BLK - 13.5oz Denim Western Shirt - Black
I’m curious what the main difference is between this and the 14oz 295-BB? Other than being .5 oz lighter?

@Mizmazzle yeah, my 526LOD is by far my best / favorite fitting jacket I own. The extra length is spot on for me.
But regardless, I think the SBG will pull me in haha

21oz 888s. 30x34. Indigo, Overdyed, and SBG.
So I have 3 pairs of 21oz 888's -- indigo, overdyed, and SBG. All are 30x36 (unhemmed, though the inseam measures closer to 34 or 34.5 depending on the pair), all very lightly worn. One initial soak pre-wear for the Indigo and SBG, otherwise unwashed. Love these jeans, but have found it more comfortable to switch over to a looser cut with more room for mobility in my knees / legs over the past few months, so these have just been sitting lately. Would love to do a 1 for 1 trade for a 21oz 634 (indigo, overdyed, or SBG).
Also open to selling for the right price. Asking $250 per pair shipped CONUS. Open to international if buyer pays the shipping. Would also consider cutting you a deal if you buy more than 1 pair.
Measurements taken the IH way:

My 888's for your 634's (size 30 or 31 waist)

I believe a 30 should work fine in Indigo or Overdyed, though I might need a 31 in the SBG since the measurements show a smaller waist.
Any one interested, just shoot me a DM. I'll gladly take more photos and exact measurements if you're curious.

RE: My IHSH-361-BLK for your IHSH-295-BB or IHSH-218-BLK (size Medium)
adding an edit - would also be open to trading for a 218-BLK Johnny Cash shirt.

My IHSH-361-BLK for your IHSH-295-BB or IHSH-218-BLK (size Medium)
So I have a lovely IHSH-361-BLK in size Medium, the 16oz SBG shirt that was released last year. Incredible hefty shirt / jacket. But, I've maybe worn it a dozen times with one cold soak (and very minimal signs of fading), and can't seem to really get it into a nice rhythm, thanks to the warm California climate.
Would be interested in trading for a 295-BB, the 14oz version, or a 218-BLK Johnny Cash, in hopes of the lighter weight helping me wear it more often. I'm happy to get exact measurements / specific photos for anyone who is open to the trade.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
@Alex I came to this page specifically to see if there was any chatter about a wider-leg cut. Obviously, fashion trends have been heading that way for a bit. I recently have been wearing some high rise wider / straight fits and found it to be an excellent cut and extremely comfortable. Makes my 888’s feel slim when slipping back in haha. But, nothing beats my IH denim. So, here’s to hoping for that sort of cut!

@Heavy_blue this is the only right answer.

RE: IH-888S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise SBG
@WhiskeySandwich you and @jerkules with your beautiful fade shots, as if I needed any encouragement to snag a pair . Sometimes I forget how beautiful the SBG fabric is. It’s time I take the plunge.

RE: IH-888S-21od - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - OD'd
Are there any plans to send these to stockists? I know Self Edge has 888’s in a few different fabrics. Curious to try these on in person!

RE: IH-735-ODG - 11oz Herringbone Work Pants - Olive Drab Green
I’ve been thinking about picking up a pair of olive to mix up my standard denim routine. Trying to decide between these and the 720’s. Not a lot of photos in either thread.
@AdamJ are these and the 720 the same cut/fit? And the only difference then is the fabric? I’m not too far from Franklin & Poe, thinking about making the trek to try some on in person.

@Fades-for-future did you hot soak it? how about the length, curious if it shrunk any in there.

RE: IHSH-361-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
Man. This is some shirt. I've got to echo those of you who said things like "waxy" and "smooth" and "sheen." I've never felt anything quite like it. It's heavy, but it's also comfortable. Not scratchy or rough like some crispy denim tends to be. Tried to take some shots that help showcase these qualities, for those who were like me and just trying to envision what this shirt is really like. Really stoked to see how it progresses and forms down the road.

RE: IHSH-361-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
@Luijim78 @WhiskeySandwich thanks for the insight! Sounds pretty beefy and more like a shacket than a shirt. Good to have my expectations set in advance. I love a good heavyweight jacket, just haven't been able to adopt that same mindset for a shirt before. Guess its time for the SBG to change my mind haha.

RE: IHSH-361-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
Just copped one of these from Rivet & Hide. Really stoked. My 555 SBGs are one of my favorite pairs. SBG is a black denim dream, can’t wait to see it in a shirt.
For those who have one, I’m curious: being 16oz, does it feel more like a jacket than a shirt? Or assuming that it softens as it breaks in, does it eventually feel like a shirt? I have some RGT 15oz “overshirts” but they might as well be jackets. I ultimately didn’t get the CPO version because I’m hoping to wear this more as a shirt.
