A new addition to the Viberg Family arrived this morning courtesy of Mr Clint D ( Thanks again Clint for your help in getting this purchase organised ). Clint picked up the boots from the Viberg sample sale but they were a bit too small. His loss has been my gain and I am very pleased with them.
A quick shot of the family
Looking great! Glad you're enjoying them!

The significance of the broad arrow is actually a symbol which was used by the British military; it could be found on various military items like boxes and guns, to helmuts and boots.
It is also known as the Pusser's (from Purser) Mark. It was used by the Royal Navy to identify things that belonged to them and hence the Purser could identify stuff that was stolen from him. Our house was built by the Royal Navy in 1830. There are Pusser's Marks all over the place. All of the individual hinges are stamped with it, even some individual bricks and flagstones. Here is the pavement outside our house….
I will look for more tonight….

Pillow Pants, the spec on the Viberg boots I picked up from the sample sale / Clint D are as follows
1950 service boot, 9" with a smooth leather sole and a Cat's Paw heel.
Chris thought they were built on the 2030 last and Finn666 thought they were built on the 110 last.
This is as much as I can tell you on actual specs for the boots.
Compared to my other Viberg UK9 size boots they feel a bit more snug, I suspect this is due to the toe box being slightly up-turned. This is the first pair of Vibergs I have bought in this particular last, if you know your Viberg size and are looking to buy something built on a similar last i would consider going up 1/2 a size.

…
if you check the two pairs of service boots in the "family shot" then there you can see two pair of boots, built on the 2030 last! comparing them to your new pair on the left, 110 is more likely!
great family pic btw. I really do miss my 4HS Service Boots -
Pretty sure Finn's right and I'm definitely wrong about the last.
He has more Vibergs than I do, so he would know.

i have came across 5 pairs of vibergs so far (4 different lasts 160, 2030, 2x 2040, 310)...unfortunately i had to sell two of´em (160, 2030)! -
I revised the video to show fit/wear clips of the Viberg Blue Oxfords.
