Watches - another OCD problem

I think it's a bit meh. Raiding their older designs and using a different movement could have made for a much cooler watch. As is, it's not even in my Patek Top 10.

Not keen on the 5524G. Seems a bit of a misfit for the brand. Its a Patek and as a result will sell regardless.
The Genta designed Nautilus was also a step in a different direction for Patek when it was released back in 1976 however this was an original design not a rehash of an old model.
I don't think the 5524G will have the same longevity as the Nautilus design.
Patek have to be complemented on trying something different, they do have a few different styles within the collection. If you try and keep the collection fresh then you are going to serve up some hits and the odd miss.

It's not mine, unfortunately. I found it on the Hodinkee Instagram feed, which is XXX rated watch porn.
The Zeitwerk starts at $55K if you look for a used one on Chrono24. The Phantom was a limited edition, and will no doubt go for much, much more.

Jacob & Co. Billionaire Watch…
Not mine, and not to my tastes. But I appreciate the smiley on the back.

Hodinkee have an article and video about the A. Lange & Söhne manufacture. @ddtrash if you haven't taken a look at this, then you really should.
There's also a preview of the upcoming Philips auction in Geneva, which includes this gorgeous Patek doctor's watch.
Unfortunately the article is called "My Thoughts On The Four Watches That Could (And Should) Break $1M At The Phillips Geneva Watch Auction". So, no, you can't afford it!
