Mine survived a 40 degree wash with no marks. Will get some measurements done later when they are dry.
-
@brotherslen I understand your dilemma. I’ll just echo what Mega said, they look good and they will relax with wear. Whether they’ll give enough for you is another matter. Good luck.

So here are my measurements after a warm wash
Size 32
Before After
Waist. 32.6 30.5
F Rise 11.8 11.1
R Rise 16.5 15.6
Thigh 13 12.7
Knee 8.9 8.7
Hem 8.1 7.9

Wow @spitfiredealer , I think you really got all the shrink out. 2.1 " in the waist is impressive.
-
yeah I was surprised how much it shrank so much so I just went back a re did it. If really pull on the waist you could say it was 30.6 but that's it. Going to be fun getting them on in the morning

I weep for your testicles

Looks like everyone is getting quite a bit of shrink in the rise as well. Good to know.

Shrink in the rise?? they have pills for that now
-
So I assume very little stretch, if any, after breaking in for the knee/low thigh area?
[…]They look small to me. Since they're the DWC version, you might have a better chance of recouping close to what you paid if you decide to sell.

My pair size 34 arrived today. I had them hemmed at IHUK to 35.5"(free hemming? sure I'll take it!), so I own them now regardless.
I'm planning on soaking in the sink for a while to soften the denim (as recommended), then a cold wash, hand cycle, no spin and hang dry, and then a 2nd wash with hot water, hand cycle, no spin and hang dry. I won't get to wear them for a couple of days… I plan to take some raw fit pics.
Re: leather patch treatment, what are fella's here doing, if anything? I've been using 2 coats of Obenauf's Leather Oil before any wash or soak with new jeans, and then a new coating every couple of washes. I especially get the edges of the patches to help minimize the leather wicking in water into the end grain. Yeah, it darkens the patches significantly, especially on veg tanned leathers, but the graphics are still visible. I'd rather extend the life of the patch and avoid cracking.
Here are my raw measurements (there may be inaccuracies around 0.125", as accurate as I can get);
waist: 34.0" (the check list states 34.2" - I'm not gonna argue, it's close enough)
front rise: 12.0"
back rise: 16.5"
thigh at crotch (90° to outer edge): 13.325"
thigh 2" down (90° to outer edge): 12.5"
knee @ 14" down: 9.25"
Hem: 8.5"
Inseam: 35.5" -

I apply Obenauf's LP after every wash, including the edges and the back of the patch. I've never had a patch crack, and while they do darken a bit, the LP doesn't darken the leather as much as mink oil or similar oils do.

Guys , I received the denim today. Soak and wash warm. Drip and dry. The denim is demp right now . I can't button top two buttons . Do you think the situation will get better after the denim is dry?
I am seriously concern now !!Btw : I bought tag 38

Can't as in they're way too tight? Or can't as in the buttons are giving you hell, @Mustafa911?

Too tight , Second last button is on . Now just the top button is the struggle . About half inch or little to short .
The denim is still wetSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
