I have been watching Fargo lately, the pseudo Swedish/America sounding accents are fascinating. Having only been to the East Coast, it's like nothing I've ever heard!
I have watched Fargo, and the accent is severe. There are different accents all over the country. New England, New York, different areas of the South, I always describe Louisiana, as sounding southern with a New England twang. While I was working, my companies manufacturing and corporate office was in Plymouth Minnesota, where I have been numerous times along with Mankato and Red Wing. There is a definite speech pattern there, but not as severe as watching Fargo. Minnesota did have an influx of Scandinavians, along with Dakota Native American Indians. With my work, I have traveled to 47 states, so it was a bit typical to pick up on different accents through out the country. OOps, I forgot Pennsylvania Dutch.

Anyone else watching the Perry Mason reboot on HBO? I've been enjoying it so far.

Yup. The newest season is better than the last two.
Weird seeing Sullivan Stapleton playing an uptight character after playing Damien Scott in Strike Back

yeah. i feel you. at the start of season 3, i kinda felt they were scraping the bottom of the barrel of the plot. then at the end of season 4 cliffhanger, they've managed to pick things up again and i'm on the edge every single episode.
the latest episode had subtle humour and that one reference to avengers, that being a marvel fan, i was really stoked. i'm not going to mention who, in case of spoilers, but seeing CIA guy back at it (which i knew all along), is pretty refreshing because i've always liked his character.

Jaimie (Jane Doe) was my best friend in the world through middle school and high school. My brother watches the show and makes fun of me all the time.

For All Mankind on Apple TV is stellar.

We are watching season 3 of Dark right now on Netflix. It's brilliantly shot, but there's so much to keep track of with time travel and familial alterations due to changes in history i'm like a baby sucking my thumb trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
It could really use a walking dead type after show called "talking Dark" to help explain the nuances.
