Picked this up today. Switched the strap for a nato. So happy!

^^^wow that is a big shot.
Well done, Sir, very fine piece. Definitely one of the best automatic movement! @Cutlasshound -
Nice one @Cutlasshound, that's currently my favorite GS model! I like the day to day usability of the Nato as well.

Those look really good. It will be interesting to see how they are in real pictures.

@Chris - There are a few IRL pictures here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/2021-omega-novelties-in-the-flesh.130096/

had a chance to try on the yellow gold and silver Tudors. pleasantly surprised with how good it looks. idiotic me forgot to take a picture to show you all. I'll try and get them again..

Damn @Giles! That's one of my fave modern day watches. So, so lovely. How do you like it?

It was my dream watch for years, then I was offered a really good deal on it. Had to sell a few body parts…
I put the Nato on it last week, in the process I found out that the strap bars are screw-in lug bars, so I have just ordered a 0.9mm Allen key and some Tamiya thread lock (and spare lug-bars and screws in case I strip the thread), so I can put a non-Nato on it....

The No Rad edition? That’s one hell of a score, congrats!

went back to take another look at the Tudor black bay but the gold is no longer on display. wonder if they've already sold it..
for now, the silver. They had another one with the fabric strap but that's gone too. this model comes with the leather strap. the grey dial and bezel does look good and complement the silver case well. not sure if anyone can tell the difference from a far between silver and stainless steel but the finishes are completely different.

Looking good, I’m wearing my older ETA powered “Smiley” BB today [emoji2]

Not a great pic, but it’s a great watch @Cutlasshound

The Black Bay in silver looks good. It sounds like it won't tarnish, which is a bit of a shame, as I like the idea of a what that develops a patina.
Zenith have done a time only watch and a chronograph in silver. In a recent interview, Julien Tornare (the CEO) said that they considered stabilising the case so it wouldn't tarnish, but then they decided not to. They wanted a case that aged with use.
I don't recall seeing the silver chronograph before, but it looks quite good.

There are silver alloys that do not tarnish, e.g., argentium.
Silver is a different beast from bronze, IMHO. Bronze really takes on a multitude of hues as it patinates. Silver starts from being the whitest metal and turns grey, and then near black. It doesn't patina in a very interesting manner.
