Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

I’d look at some long term reviews. I haven’t seen anyone complaining of chipping. I wouldn’t hesitate. It’s a great choice either way.
Ended up going with the S90v. So far so good. Looking forward to putting it to good use. And will make sure this one doesn’t get pinched!
Excellent. I think you’ll really enjoy it.

Its a little bigger than normal
Really ?
What's the English version of "that's what she said?" Something like "said actress to the bishop?" Curious if this actually references a joke. Either way, gotta give credit for a more creative rejoinder than our version.
I'd love an IH collab knife, but one I'd carry would probably be illegal in a lot of your markets

Don't think I've posted a picture of my Benchmade 940. I've never seen another one with a serrated blade like this as well. It was definitely what sealed the deal for me. Picked it up at a local Benchmade dealer a while back, but not sure how old it is, as I'm sure it had been sitting there for a while.

I love their tanto blades… ^
I got suckered into my suppliers spring sale last week. 50% price drops means you should buy two right?
To be fair, I’ve had my eye on this pair for a long time.
The Fox/Spyderco collab is a tiny gentlemans folder. I’m going to admit to it being the least practical knife I own.
The Fox El Capitan is the exact opposite in every way. Enormous, burly and will get thoroughly abused on a regular basis.
Little and Large…

Nice! You’ve inspired me to share my extremes among my flippers. Big ole Curtiss F3 and tiny Zero Tolerance 0022:
-
It's so small @neph93 that I find it a little awkward to deploy, though it feels and performs great once the blade is out. But it is a little titanium framelock with a real carbon scale, a quality little thing.
My EDC is usually the Zero Tolerance 0450 with titanium scales, fitted with a deep carry clip. Both of the ZT flippers have superb detente.

Epic @goosehd! Always heard good thing about those and that they're worth it.
Reminds me… I have the following inbound:
From my favorite maker, Phill Hartsfield. Love his work.
-
From my Dad. Legal here in Texas and SUPER illegal in California (where I live).

I had a Combat Trodoon but I had trouble firing the blade reliably. It requires quite a bit of strength actually! I ended up selling it. Superb quality.
Yeah, I agree that it's both tough to fire (like whoa) and of a rather high quality for a standard production knife.

I've been to Laguiole a few times, great little town.
