I was kind of thinking that the stink compounds can’t adhere as well to the cotton threads because they are so tightly woven in denim.

@Omega:
Few questions on the use of Paypal to sell things.
1. If I don't have my bank account link to PayPal, PayPal will keep the $$ in its account linked to me?
2. If and when I subsequently link my bank account to PayPal, I can move the $$ into my bank account? Is it a cumbersome process?1. Yes. That will be your PayPal balance. You can use it online wherever PayPal is an option.
2. Yes, transferring is possible. It isn’t cumbersome but the money does take 1-2 working days to show up in your account.
One thing to be aware of with transfers is your bank’s reporting criteria. In Norway the banks have to report every bank deposit of over 500USD to the tax authority at which point it may become taxable.

What kind of belt do you want? There are plenty of good leather choices on the markert from 100USD-200USD. What buckle style do you fancy?

@Jeanmoreau I have belts from Pigeon Tree and B.Weiss leather, both fine craftsman from Colorado. I prefer B.Weiss in general, and you don’t have to wait 3 months for one of his belts. Bullhide belts are good for a mass produced belt.

I really know nothing about belts so I don’t know what belt buckle.. A normal looking one?
B Weiss is 500 dollars. I can’t be paying that much for a belt. I’m thinking around 100 maybe even less? Is that possible for something decent?
What about those ones that start out as really light then get darker as you wear them? Is that legit or some sort of gimmick?

A good natural vegtan belt is an excellent choice. Not a gimmick, totally legit. I have the IH version and have had it for seven years. Use it 300+ days a year. I’d say it has twice as many years left in it. Not a bad buy for 200USD.

If you search for leather gun belts you can often find nice shops that make simple sturdy belts. I bought a couple from bullhide belts years ago that I've worn daily that still look fantastic and are great belts since they're meant to hold up heavy things hanging from them. They were very customizable when I bought and specifically liked how they offered 7 holes spaced at .75" rather than the more typical 5 holes at 1" spacing.

@Jeanmoreau Go back to Bweiss, and look at the super beast for $145,don’t know why the only thing showing is that $500 belt.

I recommended Bullhide to him as well. I agree, and have 2 of their belts.

For me, IH tochigi belt is 10x better than my $100 belts. Pay 2x, get 10x = great value

Big fan of these:

Interesting. So what makes a belt better than another at this price point?

Quality/longevity and utiles derived from wear. Only negative is garrison buckle has to come off at airport security. Worth it

Not finding good info on the bweiss website or any contact info. How many and What spacing are the holes? Is it held together with rivets or Chicago screws for swapping out buckles?
He's responsive on his instagram @BWeissLeather
