Fragrances

Creed Aventus, Creed Original Vetiver, Creed Virgin Island Water, Dior Sauvage, Acqua di Parma Colonia, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Hermes Terre de Hermes, and Mugler A Men Pure Malt.
I've journeyed down another rabbit hole…

I'm enjoying Tom Ford Black Orchid, such an intriguing aroma
I'm a modern man, but that I must say is right on the edge of what a man can get away with wearing imho.

It's certainly different, but my girlfriend loves how it smells on me, and in fact was quite surprised when I mentioned that it was unisex - she felt it was more of a male scent

I am VERY picky with most things I spend my money on. Colognes I am extra picky in the scent department. I on go to the regular stores and buy if I'm looking at something new so I can try it on me for a walk round the store or mall. 90% of the colognes are crap….but I found one that I really love on me. Gucci actually makes good men's cologne. I hate almost everything else they make or sell though.

YSL Korus and Mont Blanc for me
-
I used to collect scents and still switch my cologne up daily between:
Guerlain Derby
Guerlain Voyou
Guerlain Vetiver
Guerlain Moscow
Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanilla
Guerlain Sous Le Vent
Geir by Geir Ness
Louis Vuitton Imagination
Louis Vuitton Immesite
Givenchy Pi
Dior Homme
Dior Homme Eau for Men
The Dior, Vuittons, and Geir are daily drivers. The Guerlains depend on the weather and occasion especially since some of the bottles are discontinued and have gotten expensive.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah but it all depends on your body chemistry and attitude. Nowadays frags are pretty much unisex. My wife will wear mine and occasionally I will try one of hers if isnt a huge floral. I guess it all comes down to your comfort level. I dont give a shit if people judge how I look, I dont feel differently about the scent I wear. I also carry a man bag for the record. [emoji23]

I'm invested in le labo now. have got:
vanille, gaiac, another and baie

I'm trying to figure out what happened to Odin. I always wore Odin 07 during the winter months. It's out of stock everywhere and I can't figure out if Odin's perfume line will be continued.
In 10 years, they went from having 3 shops in NYC, to an online-only store, to not even bothering to answer emails.
-
I'm a Le Labo wearer too but went with the obvious option that everyone else seems to go for: Santal
-
Le Labo has a pop-up shop in the parking lot of Imogene + Willie here in Nashville. It's about 15 mins from me. Might have to go check it out.
My daily go-to's in no particular order are:
Dior Homme Intense
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale
Maison Margiela By the Fireplace
Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Maltand, if you want a real bang for your buck, pick up one of those Nemat Amber roll-ons at Ulta if you've got one nearby. They're like $20 and are amazing. Probably the one I'm using the most these days.

Once I went parfum rather than toilet I never went back. Gateway scent was Aesop Marrakech intense

Never went back because of longevity? Sillage? For me it depends on the scent. I would love to own some of the Guerlain pure parfums but some are 350-400$ for a 40ml or so bottle.

Yeah basically, I've not got much knowledge in this area (sillage is a new vocab word for me thanks) but just find that parfums are easier on the nose and last longer

mm. that might be next. but having a 5th bottle is a bit of an overkill. vanille and baie stands out for me the most..

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
One of my favorites ever.
Recently been wearing CDG Avignon- really nothing like it and such a perfect fall/winter scent.
-
Friend of mine suggested trying " Perfumes de Marly" Layton–--it is pretty intense!
Could be one of my favorites.
