Wow
-
Dang that evo is wild @AdamC ???
-
i really wasnt going to order another t-shirt, but that 3 year old picture….
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Adam's 20th anniversary party appearance in that tee had a significant effect on 1600 sales
I know of at least 1 person that has fallen victim haha @don_pipone

I love the 11 oz. fabric of the 1600. I'm wearing my 1501 today and I have a rare thought of an improvement. @Alex is there any way Haraki would consider making the t-shirt arm opening hem (probably saying this wrong) be sewn like the hem of the bottom of the shirt instead of like the collar? It's pretty bulky and while it feels fine on its own, with a shirt over top it feels a bit annoying in there.
-
You mean the kind of additional cuff material @jordanscollected ?
-
That’s correct @Alex. This is simply a personal wish. Not sure if it’s been mentioned before. If I could snap my fingers and have it sewn the same as the hem of my 1500 as seen below, I would.
-
Countless wears and washes on this over the last 3 years
Holy moly that is some awesome evo. I was wearing my black one the other day and noticed it lightening up to a dark grey and was wondering to myself about the evo on these shirts. When I get home, I'm going to look at it a bit closer.

I suspect that one of the things that keeps this shirt looking sharp and awesome for so long is bulky arm openings and collar. Not sure of course and I don't layer with it much. Just a thought

@aksu I think that's a great point on the collar. But the arm opening shouldn't suffer the same fate as collars do, where they tend to sag fray and discolor due to skin contact over time.

I’ve gotta say, I think the arm cuff finishing is a great detail that makes these shirts unique… I have lots of other options for t-shirts if that “bulk” on the cuff was a problem for some reason (layering with a slim/high arm hole over shirt I suppose). Anyhow, just my $0.02. I personally hope they don’t change and I can get a black someday to go with my cream and olive!
