The album from those sessions is called “Somethin’ Else” and was released under Cannonball Adderly’s name if anyone wants to hear more of what @goosehd posted. Also Miles’ famous “Kind of Blue” was from this period.
Can’t recommend Miles’ autobiography “Miles” enough either. I can’t help but hear his raspy voice narrating when I read it.

Who wants to play a music league? It’s very fun. The way it works is we come up with themes, and league members submit songs in line with the themes, then vote on the anonymous submissions. After all the rounds are completed, the person with the most points wins. It’s a great way to discover music.
More info here: https://musicleague.com/
If folks want to do this I will start a thread for it and we can propose and vote on the themes for each round of the tournament.
I’m currently doing this with friends and it is a ton of fun.

You do need a Spotify account but a free one works. I’ll have to sign up myself as I’ve been using a friends on the other one.
I’ll get this rolling over the weekend! Stay tuned.

I’ve entered my two tunes - may well change one or both before the deadline though!

Saw The Boss from the owner’s suite at Ball Arena Sunday. He annd the E Street Band, whom he seems to genuinely love like family, always kill it. 2.5 hours of straight music. That Bruce is 73 with the energy and skills he has just beggars belief. Sang and played and rocked his heart out and still was able to do a couple of very delicate, heart wrenching solo vocal tunes. Didn’t miss a single note the whole night.
