Wabbidashery… aka, The Heritage Heaven Tour

Alright, i’ve got word from @Aetas that the jacket landed safely and he’ll update the thread here tomorrow and we can keep continuing this tour but since we’re here i have one more thing to say wich i really need to get of my chest. In no way it’s correct to talk about people in the way i’ve seen and heard people talk about me. I’m happy i’m stronger then 2 years ago cause 2 years ago this stuff would have really hurt me.. do you know that? Now i’m a man and took it all without firing a shot back at all of you.. cause it’s senseless. When i found this community it really was amazing, it’s filled with amazing people who share the same passion, love and dedication to a clothing brand wich i’ve only seen before at Apple for example. But this downside really, really i’ve never experienced or expected but life throws stuff at you, you eat it and you continue with the more important things life has to offer. For now, i’m heading out the ‘digital’ door and maybe, just maybe, someday i’ll make a sweet return but for now.. have a great life, enjoy your love ones but please, try, to never talk shit about anyone there backs without even knowing the person you’re talking shit about! Cause maybe it feels good for you but never forget how it might land for the receiving part.. that’s how wars get’s started!

@Heavy_blue I am so sorry that you feel this way, you are a valued and appreciated member, and you will be missed. Of course, I (we) can't stop you, if you want to leave. But personally, I would prefer you to stay. I don't know if you are talking about stuff that happened in DM's or outside the forum completely, but I can't see any real shit being talked about you.
I can't answer for others, but my guess is that given the brilliance of the start of this tour, people were a tad disappointed that it slowed down when it hit The Netherlands. Yes of course none of us had any idea of your personal issues, problems, diversions, whatever, unfortunately, that is the way of the web and social media.
So, I think what you saw was disappointment and frustration, that is all.
-
@Heavy_blue You are an amazing forum member and you have maybe the best hair East of the Mississippi. I also won't try to stop you from popping off for bit if you so choose. I want to add a couple Jeff blurbs as I've been known to do.
- Volunteering for a world tour comes with it's own set of made up standards and you may catch some flack for whatever reason.
B. I think someone received a world tour item once and was never heard from again, so people have a heightened sense of awareness when time goes by with no word.
2C. I have had to deal with this myself when the Mad Red went missing for months and months. I simply Added the tracking to the website so everyone was on the exact same page as I was. - No one can say anything worse to me than I scream at myself in the bathroom mirror in the morning, that when the real insults get slung.
D. Hopefully you can brush it off and stick around. We all love your content and fits and overall style and vibe, and I especially liked all the things you shared during your stint with the Wabash.
Lastly, my advice is when in doubt, get on a horse and let nature sort it out.

@Heavy_blue I'll piggyback off @jordanscollected comment here. I've really enjoyed conversations with you both off and on this forum. Appreciate your knowledge of, and passion for, these shared interests that bring us all together, and have especially admired your candidness about your own personal issues during your leg of the tour.
Sometime the intentionality and tone of text based communication is difficult to ascertain, particularly if approached with a less than positive or self-conscious mindset, but as a neutral observer, I've seen nothing posted here that has led me to believe you're not a respected and valued member of this community.

Let me first say thanks to you all for replying in this wonderful way! I don’t wanna steal any time away here in this tour and without further ado we should @Aetas give his shine. Let me clarify that there was nothing said in this thread about me, but behind my back? Yes! Also let me clarify that it doesn’t bother me that much but i wanted to make a statement that words, although it are just words could really harm people! For now i’m sending you love and i wish @Aetas the best legg of his life!

After all this months of waiting to contribute, thought I’ve the right words to start and the best first picture to show …. but I’ve not!
First leg in here started glorious with @denim-dawg and @Stitch . Their contribution set standards and ended up in the Arctic Adventure Series.
Without @neph93 , no Heritage Tour!
And after all this conversations with @Heavy_blue , I can say he is a great member of this forum. Hope he stays!
Came home from a trip and had exactly a few minutes to get warm with the Heritage Tour Jacket, before I left to see a football match.

@Aetas your Smile! This here - right here - is so much fun and love!! Best wishes to you, good soul. You’re in a Wabash League of your own ️ ️️
-
@Aetas I watched the game on TV. Ambition of mine to visit Dortmund for a match. The Yellow Wall is something else.
-
All right, Dirk! Glad to see the tour jacket landed safely @Aetas. Looking forward to seeing further adventures.
For what it’s worth, @Heavy_blue anybody talking shit is just being a dick. I was glad to get a little glimpse into your life, and that’s what a world tour is all about!
-
Thanks a lot @denim-dawg and @sabergirl
This linked Yellow Wall is something special. Stands behind the goal hold over 20.000 supporter. DM when you come around @IrishHeart
Harry Kane was the game-changer @endo @Tago-Mago . Looks like this song needs an English translation soon .
-
@endo I didn’t understand a word, but loved it!
-
@Aetas thanks for linking the other videos. No sport can generate an atmosphere like a football crowd in full voice.
The atmosphere at most English football grounds deteriorated with the introduction of seating. Best I’ve witnessed in the UK is Celtic Park in Glasgow on a European night or against Rangers.
I’ll definitely let you know if I get to Dortmund

Bayern Munich
There's not much in the world
You could abide by
Some says it's love
Maybe that's true
And there's always God
If there's nobody else
Others believe in nothing
Life has made them hardSo much can happen
So much can happen
There's just one thing I know for sure:
Never in my life I would go to Bayern MunichI mean, if I was 20
And supertalented
And Real Madrid had already asked me
And the boys from Manchester
And I had also played for Germany already
And were mentally fit
And Uli Hoeneß would come
To ask meI would not open the door
Because for me it's out of questions
To spoil my character
Among people like the BavariansI just wanted to clarify this
So that we are on the same level
I have nothing against Munich
I just would never go to BavariaIs something like his really necessary?
Isn't life much too beautiful?
To throw oneself away
And go to the FC BayernSo much can happen
So much can happen
No matter how hard my fate was
I would never go to the FC Bayern MunichWhat kind of parents do you need to have
To be so spoiled
To sign a contract
With this sh*t team?We would never go to the FC Bayern Munich!
Never go the Bavarians!
We would never go to the FC Bayern Munich!
Never go the Bavarians! -
@Giles I’ll hum it if you sing it!
Thanks for the translation.

This is my fourth Tour and I asked myself … why am I doing this to myself again? There is a simple answer: I still enjoy the forum, the people and the friendly atmosphere!
What drew me in here?
-Two Patagonia shirts I bought in the early 90‘ and then disappeared ten years later.
-Two selvedge Edwin jeans made in Japan, received as a gift from my cousin in the mid 90‘. One of them still existing.
-When I found out about Lightning and an addicted Japanese scene with passion for handmade things.
…
Hopefully I can find the time to tell some of this storylines.Tour jacket paired today my first IH shirt, the IHSH-13.
Bought, because this lost Patagonia shirts where always in my mind and this 10oz selvedge chambray was the first matching a decade later.Locker room

@T4920
When the idea of a new World Tour came up in the Triangle of Terror Tour in April 23 it was a no brainer, to buy this IHJ-120 and keep it unworn and hidden till the beginning of my leg.
It was always painful, to send the od Lefty and the Mad Red away after my legs .
