Bitch Please… FAKE Iron Heart?

What also muddies the waters now is that a ton of Ebay accounts are basically just proxies for items listed for sale on the Japanese auction sites. You'll see 20 people list the same item for sale at a markup hoping that someone buys through them.
-
One of the main reasons I ask for individuals to post pictures of their actual items in the forum’s marketplace. You may think it’s a pain in the ass, but at least you know that what you’re buying is actually what you’re buying…
Too many people trying to make a quick buck out there now with all kinds of schemes going on. The secondary luxury watch market is nuts and probably goes for the rest of the luxury markets…
-
@tody ah yeah youre right. so i guess the japanese version is actually different from the western one.
-
@Giles im just noticing these slight details that seem to be different is all --
western:
jp:
i dont mean to say the actual piece is any different. this is what threw me off when trying to determine whether or not the ebay listing i was looking at was legit. -
good afternoon, help, is it fake or not? IH-666-XHS 21oz
-
666 XHS should be 25oz, the arches on the pockets are not noticeable, there is no brand on buttons
-
W -directed in the other direction
-
@Alexey164 Heads up that I've moved your post to the (possibly) Fake IH thread.
Here is the link to the 666-XHS thread.
-
If I saw the unbranded fly button my gut reaction would be fake, but then there are the WKS button rivets and the care label that all look very authentic. I too thought the arcs had been picked out but that might be my eyesight.
@Giles to your knowledge, have any QC failed pairs ever made it onto the secondary market? This pair is weird, and while I'm by no means an expert there's enough detail to seem authentic while the unbranded buttons and back-to-front "W" make it seem like a QC dud?
-
I noticed the different gauge thread used on the pockets and belt loops vs. the waist band and yoke. That seems like a detail that someone out for a quick buck would ignore. But then why the 21oz patch instead of XHS patch. Did this ever happen in past production runs? Lots of odd things going on...

Found this quote from @Giles in the 666-XHS thread:
@Giles said in IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo:
We became aware today that on the latest batch of IH-666-XHS, we used the wrong patch. We used the 21oz patch (but did stamp them IH-666-XHS). If you have a pair of these mongrels, get in touch and we will sort you out. Haraki is sending the correct patches for retro-fitting.
If, on the other hand you want a collectors item, get in quick….....

@Alexey164 where did you find this pair?
