IHSH-333-OD - Ultra Heavy Flannel Blanket Check Western Shirt - Sax Blue Overdyed Black
-
Might be talking myself into this one….
-
….didn’t last long
-
NOW COPPED
-
Wow, that went quick. Had an XL in my cart, and when I went to pay for it, said it had already sold out
-
+1 XL
There were 5 total (that I saw) when it went live.@Spencer35 sorry to hear that brother.
-
Ditto, there were only 4 when I took an XL. Gotta be snappy with such a limited piece.
Kudos to IH for making sure the shirts didn't go to waste though, even when we were talking about so few pieces overall. If anything, it makes them even more special knowing the shirts avoided landfill/recycling (even if they did rack up a few more miles).

Think I bought the last XL
talking about a very limited 333-OD owners club

So glad you copped one Brian! There were only 3 XXL in the work shirt version, so glad I was able to get one right at 11:00 on the dot.

i was all over the map on these. The green workshirt was a favorite, liked the denser pattern showing through the OD and the visible contrasting green stitching but the size chart didnt work for me. Something about the contrasting buttons and the stitching didnt appeal to me on the green western version. Not interested in the navy's at all for whatever reason. Tempted by the reds, especially to see how they would evo and the red stitching might pop more, but in the end, made a split second last minute call and snagged this in XL.

@Oaktavia congrats with your work shirt my friend
-
@Brian-bvdk woo!

@pechelman agreed, I think I’m going to pass for now. I really liked the samples, the OD on these are different and on the Red (the one I wanted) it didn’t speak to me the same as the sample. Sizing on UHF’s is always a little off for me too. Curious to see how these age!

I am one of the fantastic five

Hoo boy, they weren’t kidding about the OD process taking all the shrink out. This definitely feels denser and a little stiffer than a regular UHF. The double brushed side also feels a bit less fluffy (but no less soft) than a non-od’d UHF.
In non-studio lighting it’s much more “black” than it looks on the store pages. At a glance your brain reads it as pure black, but against a black item like my Henley here, you can tell something more interesting is going on. The pop of the blue stitching is more subtle than in the store pictures too - almost invisible more than 2 feet away from the mirror, aside from the thicker bar tacks on the pockets.
Love it, love it, love it.
Some close ups also below:

@EdH Nice. Does it feel as warm as a regular UHF?
-
@JunkPants It arrived while I was at work today so it’s hard to tell without wearing it outdoors, but as it feels a bit denser I’m guessing it might be a bit more of a wind shield than a normal UHF. I’ll try to remember to report back after it gets its first outing.

@EdH Thanks! Cool to see some real life pictures as well, looks great.
