"Moontricks" will be at a tiny venue near me at the end of March '24. Such a unique blend of singing, banjo, bass and electronic mixing. Such a fun funky "new" sound.

For whatever reason, the last two Iceage records have landed in nearly constant rotation for me. Dunno what exactly it is but I’m kinda obsessed.

@popvulture i didn’t know this band but after a few songs i start to feel what you’re saying! They’re quite cool and there sound is very ‘addictive’

@Heavy_blue yeah they’re great! They’ve been around for a while, starting out more punk then developing into more of this sort of grinding rock thing. It’s really disheveled and a bit menacing, definitely reminds me of Nick Cave, the Libertines, maybe a little bit of Oasis.
Anyway, had these two on vinyl for like a year and I guess it took em a while to sneak up on me, but man they got in.

@popvulture it’s crazy.. before reading this comment i was: woow they sound like Nick Cave haha! Funny situation

Sierra Ferrell. Such a unique voice. She was singing on the streets of New Orleans in 2017 living in a van. Now she’s touring the country.
