I watched both seasons of The Bear and the went back and totally rewatched Season 1 and several episodes of Season 2.(Forks and Fishes)The first time around I missed a lot of stuff in Season 1 that’s referenced in Season 2. The creator of the show is,apparently, a real denim head, and the star is just learning about it. Maybe get the creator guy on Iron Cast.

@jiminstitches Totally, re-watching Hiromatsu's seppuku the scond time was really different after knowing what was really going on. It was so good.
-
This has been on my list, @Giles what are you thinking of it so far.
Although everything is on hold for me until the Masters is over 🥱

Mr. Bates vs The Post Office looks good. Haven’t seen any of it yet but looks great. It’s got Toby Jones in it who I thought was great in The Detectorists.
-
@deanclean It’s well worth a watch, there is also a documentary on the subject that is also worth a watch.
The power of Corporation is scary. -
@IH-GARY thanks for the recommendation. I’ll look for the documentary too!
-
@endo - bear with it. I wasn’t sure after the first episode but stuck with it. It takes its time but worth sticking with it. Scott being too old is an issue though but you will end up forgetting about that.

Just watched ‘Baby Reindeer’ on Netflix. A pretty difficult watch at times but unlike anything I have ever seen.
-
You’re right @HeavyGenes, this is a great show and right down to costume looks amazing. Thoroughly enjoying it, but is it a one series and done deal?
-
@Gulliver I have not read the book and haven’t looked into what the future of the TV show is. But the author of the source material is sadly passed. But he still might beat RR Martin to a new book.
-
@HeavyGenes that’s a genuine belly laugh from me. Likely a cold day in hell before we see “The Winds of Winter”
-
@neph93 Promising, thanks. So long as we don’t get another Lost on our hands.

"Black Sails" originally aired on Starz in 2014 (ran 4 seasons) and flew under the radar for many due to the small platform. My wife and I loved that show and it's an all time favorite for us. Netflix just picked it up and is streaming all seasons.
It takes place before the events of Treasure Island with many well known characters from the book.
This series is an absolute gem.
