I wouldn't say I was a big fan, I don't own any and never have. I do respect some of what they have done, absolutely. Their quality is good, but you are also paying for more of a high street brand's brand name with Visvim more than you are with the likes of PBJ/Fullcount/Samurai/IH etc
-
@Alex I could have swore you had listed Visvim as one of your favorite non-IH brands.
I've been unjustly judging you in my head for a long time now...

@jordanscollected ...almost time to put the foot in mouth quote back in your signature...

@goosehd I'll wait until it piles on a bit more.

Does 21oz denim fade the slowest compared to all other IH denim fabrics?
-
@RobeOfTheMagi i don’t think particularly slow but more vintage vibes so less contrast. At least that’s what i would say! 14oz goes slower imo. But it’s just all how hard you go on them and what you’re after
-
@RobeOfTheMagi it does fade pretty slowly, yes. There are perhaps some more stubborn faders in the line (17oz N, maybe 19L) but it’s definitely high up the list if not the top of it

Why IH Germany unlike the US, or UK charging for shipping over 200 euro , or charging 21 euro for hemming? What kind of customer service is that!
Why IH in Germany charges for shipping over 200 euro for EU, but free for rest of the world, plus hemming starting at 21 euro while it’s free in IH UK and US!
Doesn’t sounds right to me, am l missing something or….. -
@gr8-selvedge IH Germany and IH UK (which runs IH US) are two separate companies owned and operated by different people.
Edit: Each stores policies for shipping and hemming would be their own to make.
Hopefully this answers your question.

@gr8-selvedge you should also look into the impact Brexit and German customs/import/export rules have on their shipping policies. IH Germany has excellent customer service within the boundaries of what they can control.

Basically, different countries have different legal, taxation and institutional frameworks. From a shipping perspective, a country a to country b route is known as a lane, for all sorts of reasons there is a massive variance in the cost of shipping in different lanes. I do not know of a single brand that sells at the same price with the same shipping policies in every country they do business in.
There are a few reasons why we are good at what we do, one of them is shipping. I sometimes say that our business is shipping and we just so happen to ship clothing.....
