W-3 thru W-16 - Brass Wallet Chains & Hooks
-
Been using it for a couple of weeks and love it.
Only concern is that the leather tag that hangs on the ball chain has loosened from the clasp 3 times. I've tried to tighten the clasp to see if it helps.
Luckily I found the leather tag all times on the ground not long after it fell.

@rovdjurstorget Your wallet is a gorgeous colour with fantastic patina!!
-
@goosehd Thanks. I've had it for 9 years and was even featured on the Tanner Goods website some time ago.
The lower snap button really marks all of my back pockets with the tanner goods "stamp".

I know there was a restock in may but I’ll ask cause why not! Restock on the horizon?

So the sad day finally came and I've discovered too late that my leather tag has fallen off with its ball-chain.
Is there a way to replace it?
-
@rovdjurstorget so you've lost the leather tag, or just the chain that connects it to the keychain?
-
@Alex Both Both the ball chain and the leather tag.
It fell off a few times and I tightened it and it held for a while, before falling off for good this time.
-
@rovdjurstorget we won't have any spare tags in the UK, I am afraid. We can try and get home of a couple, but could take some time
-
@Alex That would be so appreciated. No hurry for me. Let me know what I can do, or when to check in on it again.
-
-
@Alex Hi again. Would it be possible to replace my missing leather tag now after restock?
-
@Alex
have you ever thought of a chrome or nickel plated variant ? of course sterling would be best -
@rovdjurstorget one of the team will check and come back you you

How do I shorten the W10 Brass Key Hook? I know I need to take off the "Iron Heart Pride of Japan" ring and one of the brass rings but don't really know how to do that.
-
@petersmith At first glance you will need to open the rings to do so. I would use two pairs of pliers (needlenose, vice grips, etc.) and open the ring by using opposing pressure on either side of the opening. To avoid marring the brass, use electrical tape (or duct tape) to wrap the teeth of the pliers.

A beauty @Aetas ! Bravo!
