888 Fit Guidance
So my question is this. If 888 14oz fits me well in 32 after wearing them in, can I expect something similar with the heavier weight 888s? I am keen to get some 21oz but want to know if w32 will also be the right fit for me in the heavyweight as I wonder if there’s a bit less give/stretch?
Generally speaking, yes. They are cut to the same pattern. There will be some variance model to model, which is why we publish a specific chart for every model of jeans/shirt etc etc. Did you buy the IH-888S-142 from us directly? If so, we should have a note of the actual waist size of them when new and can work out sizing on other models from that. If not, you'd need to measure your pair now, and we can work out how to go backwards from there..

Following on from @T4920 asking for a wabash type 3 - if full denim is a Canadian tuxedo, what would/should full wabash be called?
Beats me...

@Tago-Mago use your new mod powers to influence the powers that be to bleach some dotted lines all over a nice t shirt? Then we wouldn't have an issue
This actually just reminded me of a new product Giles told me was in the pipeline in Hamburg last year... I think you might have been there at the time too...
I'll keep quiet, but hopefully it is part of the FW collection!

An actual question, before the conversation drifts...
Would the crew 'hem' the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt, to the typical short sleeved length for a customer?
Need to pick up a summer shirt, and the 10oz work shirt with tonal stitching that's sitting in the outlet is calling me..

GREAT QUESTION T4920!

@AdamJ that's understandable, I'd never ask for minor sleeve/cuff length alterations as that's obviously a specialist job for a tailor.
Just thought LS to SS conversion might have been possible as (in my mind at least) it seems like the same process as hemming a pair of trousers, and I doubt it'd be a common request.
You can blame @Kasi for inspiring me with his recent SS denim shirt conversion
