Date Night

@CosmoSix5 WTF!! I have a similar story to Gavin getting cheeky with my girl too!!
Way back in the day they played this small venue called the Mercury Cafe. This was before they blew up. My then girlfriend and I were going to the show and decided to grab a bite before at said cafe. A couple tables over the band sat doing an interview for the local cable tv show. That bastard Gavin kept breaking from the interview to make silly comments to my girlfriend. Haha.
Fortunately she didn’t like his band. We were really there to see the opening band, The Toadies. -
He was totally lip syncing too lol. Heck I'd needed help after all those steps too
-
@CosmoSix5 lip syncing?! Oh no Gavin! How the mighty have aged Lolol
-
@CosmoSix5 looks like a fun night out with the Mrs. By the way.

@SourPower Beautiful all around!!
I wanted to go to that show too but it was sold out by the time I found out she was coming. -
Morgan’s birthday is next weekend so we went out last night to celebrate. Place called Sap Sua. Absolutely incredible. Non traditional Vietnamese food with dynamite craft cocktails.
Lemongrass Meatballs and Coconut Dill ranch salad
Sourdough Bahn Mi and Thai Chili Fried Chicken
-
@Mizmazzle food looks great, also digging Morgan's denim/chambray dress! Have your sartorial sensibilities started rubbing off on her?

I will be dropping zero images in this thread. What I wear for date-nights is what I was wearing during the day. If it's good enough for best, it's good enough to wear all the time
I never understood Sunday best or saving something for a special occasion, you are essentially limiting your best clothes to infrequent wear....
Not a rant or a pointed comment. Just what I think.

Completely agree, I've been (playfully) accused being underdressed for evening events because I'll wear the same clothes I've worn during the daytime...
I'll dress my best each morning whether I plan to lounge around the house, go out to get milk or have a nice meal out.
No point having clothes that'll last a lifetime if you're not gonna put 'em through their paces.
-
@Giles haha. Well, I’m not much for high class dress myself. I was literally wearing those shorts doing yard work earlier in the day. I did take a shower and put on a clean Freenote shirt. So…
Date night is just a chance for me to wear my Iron Heart gear to some place other than work or sitting around my house.
But the intend of this thread wasn’t to showcase fancy clothes that only get worn on special occasions, it was to show fun times out with the special person in our lives.

I am, I wear mostly Iron Heart

@Mizmazzle ive heard great things about Sap Sua, need to make that happen soon. Going to Xiquita on Friday!
-
@SourPower yeah man. Sap Sua was really good. If you go you’ll have to let me know what you think. I’d recommend the Tigers Milk cocktail. Amazing!!
Look forward to hearing about Xiquita!!
