IHSH-399-ORA - 12oz Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Western Shirt - Orange

Can I avoid shrinkage by washing in cold water, no spin, and hang dry?
-
@bluemantra that is the method I use to try and avoid it
-
Picked up my first IHSH. Machine washed cold and tumble dried low. This is a size L. For reference, I am 5’11” and 150lbs.

@Newcomer nice one for a first shirt !

-
@Newcomer without a doubt it is the good one

Thanks @Matt
I didn't much, if any shrinkage from it going in the drier. Not sure what your guys experience has been.
-
@Newcomer Hell yes. This looks magic.

Thanks! The reason I was a little uncertain was this area across the back bunching up slightly and not laying flat.
-
@Newcomer Ah I see. I don’t think anyone would have noticed that unless you pointed it out. Does it feel uncomfortable? It should settle anyway as the fabric softens a bit.
-
@Newcomer I think the Large is a good one, if you do machine wash it, I would just do low and slow, 30 degrees and low to no spin, and hang dry and you should be golden, you may find the little tuft will drop out as the fabric softens and with wear, but I didn't notice until you said. I think down sizing is a no go, and going to the XL you may loose the intended fit of the western cut and it may bag in areas you don't want.

No, does not feel uncomfortable. I agree it will likely settle, and if not, its almost unnoticeable.
And @JoshC I agree sizing down is for sure a no go. I think sizing up will result in the sleeves being waaaayyyyyyyy too baggy.
Glad to have joined team Orange

Got one! eBay for the win. Glad I couldn't sleep. I thought for sure this one had passed me by.
