Thought this was pretty interesting, although I’m sure it does very little to ease the pain.https://x.com/danorlovsky7/status/1855984413760217314?s=46&t=Euh58q84NS2U0MpjPZE76g

@Jett129 yeah. Alex Forsyth was targeted by the Chiefs because they knew he was the weak link. He’s been beat multiple times in the past and your coaching staff was prepared to exploit that if need be…and sure as shit, the golden opportunity arose and we didn’t address it on our end. We even moved the ball to the right hash mark putting extra pressure on Alex Forsyth. That is 100% on our coaches.

@Jett129 that’s a really interesting analysis of what happened. I was disappointed for the Broncos, but you have to hand it to the Chiefs special teams ( no pun intended).
-
@IrishHeart It was a good pun though
-
@goosehd haha, although I’m trying to be sensitive to @Mizmazzle at this difficult time!

It kind of reminds me of when the Seahawks were in the Super Bowl on the one yard line and all they had to do was hand the ball to Marshawn Lynch. They passed,Malcom Butler intercepted, and the rest is history. After the game he said they practiced when the Seahawks were in that formation it meant that they were going to pass. So many games in the NFL come down to one or two plays.

Week 11 of the NFL season kicks off tonight with a big time division rivalry,as The Eagles ,at home, face off against The Commanders. None of our 3 remaining prognosticators are on that game but…@Mizmazzle is looking for The Broncos to bounce back against The Falcons,@Twistlock needs the 49ers to be victorious over The Seahawks to keep his streak going, and @IrishHeart is looking for The Lions to beat The Jaguars in a game he has dubbed The Big Cat Derby. As usual, good luck to all. See ya Monday.

Pretty much feel the same way about baseball...
They make bad calls because baseball is boring, a game lasts 14 hours, and after five minutes everyone has fallen asleep or is on their way to get a beer.
Cricket on the other hand is as riveting on the morning of day 1 as at the end of day 5
Which is to say not riveting at all.

Good Morning from chilly Cranford,NJ. While there’s a game tonight,it doesn’t affect us. Here we go. Lions-Jaguars,The Big Cat Derby, but similarly to the Tyson/Paul fight last Friday it just does not live up to the hype as The Lions make kittens out of The Jaguars to the tune of 52-6 giving @IrishHeart the win and a showdown with @Mizmazzle,this week,as his Denver Broncos bounced back from last weeks blocked field goal to easily handle the Falcons 38-6. Those two teams outscoring their opponents 90-12. Every week I marvel @Twistlock picks as he never shies away from a tight contentious division game, and this week would be no different as he picked the 49ers to beat The Seahawks, but those Seahawks who have been kryptonite for some of us in this pool, somehow prevail in this of all games beating SF 20-17 thereby sending @Twistlock to the sidelines. That was a really great run you had. This sets it up for last years Rookie of The Year @Mizmazzle vs the up and coming @IrishHeart. This will be significantly more exciting, than the Tyson/Paul fight as those two battle to win the IH Survivor Pool. Get out your popcorn. Good luck to both of you,and congratulations on last week. Football on Thursday/Sunday/Monday. See ya next week.

@Jett129 I’ve got a feeling that Detroit are going all the way this year. I’ll stick with them to beat the Colts.
-
@IrishHeart They play Buffalo in a few weeks, could be a Super Bowl preview.
-
One of the sports analysts said that the only offensive coordinator that can stop The Ravens is Todd Monken. Ouch! They needed to make the 2 point conversion, and Derrick Henry is on the sidelines. Even if you’re not giving him the ball at least make the other team think that you might give him the ball. Reminds me of when The Seahawks got cute in the Super Bowl, don’t give the ball to Marshawn Lynch, and Russel Wilson throws an interception.
-
@Jett129 should be a great game. Home advantage might swing it to the Lions.
