Good luck with the surgery @Oaktavia I find going under to be a magical experience and I know others who find it emotional... bit like tripping maybe?
Clara and I driving for France today, drop off Chicken with family before heading to USA for Annapolis, New York, Arizona and Las Vegas. Lots of miles to come and looking forward to seeing family and friends.

That I can relate to
Annapolis, New York, Arizona and Las Vegas.
Oh wow that is quite the list of cities. Enjoy your time back here! Too bad blue crabs aren't in season currently. Also New York this time of year is super beautiful.

Little Christmas present for family and friends this year … is a homemade Limoncello out of homegrown lemons.
For the home boys we used a picture taken for the IH-Wabbi Word Tour a year ago. -
I feel like I have to share our Christmas tradition. When my sister graduated high school and was off to college, my dad decided he no longer needed to do his traditional Christmas morning breakfast for us. He thought it would be better for us to hit up…you guessed it Waffle House. He passed away in 2009, 9 years after started doing that. Here I am prepping for my 24th Christmas breakfast at the WaHo. My wife said it’s the best tradition she could have ever imagined marrying into. It’s my favorite holiday tradition, for sure.

We've done this three times now and will continue to do so, so I think it's officially a holiday tradition. There's a nice hotel in the area called The Lodge at Torrey Pines, and it's an absolutely gorgeous building which (and I'm not architecture expert, so please forgive me if I mess this up) seems like a combination of craftsman and Japanese design, and it's just stunning. We go there, see the carolers singing by a big fireplace, and tuck ourselves into a little room off of the bar for a martini and what they call the "Drug Store Burger." It's a pretty fancy place, so it's definitely a treat to go there. Anyway, here are some pics that my wife took last night.
