Goose Goes to Gosport (along with Neph)

It has always caused raised eyebrows when I mention that from the time I spent in the UK, fish & chips loaded with vinegar, the full English and Shepherd's Pie have been culinary treats I like to this day.
Tradtional British food has a largely undeserved reputation abroad for sure.

My point exactly.

@neph93 Love the alliteration!! I'm about 20-30 minutes from leaving the house and starting a 2-3 hour drive to the airport for a 8-9 hour flight. Going to follow @Matt advice and avoid eating pulled pork green chilli poutine prior to takeoff and turning my intestines inside out…
The bread looks delicious and I always love a good Shepherd's pie or fish and chips. Funny story...Laura and I were in Minnesota eating at a restaurant. She had the fish and chips and asked the server for vinegar...the server had an utter look of confusion and went back to the kitchen to get some. She came back to the table with a 4 litre jug of white cooking vinegar for her...

I guess I could have met IH crew this way instead of waiting to run into them on a random trip through New Orleans…
Have fun folks!!

Table for three plus a dog for Friday brunch is booked at Southsea Coffee. Looking forward to another IH meet.

Granted this is coming from a yank, but if either or both of you end up in London, I feel like Fergus Henderson does some pretty damn fantastic stuff with traditional British fare at St. John.

It’s actually the 276-IND. https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=14936.0
UHF would have been too warm for me…

That shirt’s an all time fave for me. Wearin’ it well, sir.

…and speaking of pat downs…scanned by the scanner twice. Patted down and wand… https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=16558.msg712586#msg712586

Have a great time there. Steak and ale pie is good as well.

I quit wearing IH bottoms through any airport a long time ago. Between heavy duty bottoms and some pieces of leftover medical hardware in my leg, I was a sure bet to get the full on pat down and extra scrutiny. In a way, it's the inverse of wearing sweat pants to the strip club.

Sir, I'm going to need you to step into the TSA champagne room
