IHM-37-BLK - Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Black
-
@Brandrea the jackets are generous in their sizing. I’m 6’4 and 220 lbs and my XXL is great with a layer. It would feel a little roomy in just a tee shirt.

@Brandrea sizing is all down to personal taste and comfort, but I bet a large would look really good on you.
I’m 5’10”, 183lbs with square shoulders and a 42-43 chest and have both a XL and large. The XL is used for heavy layering (wool sweaters) on the really cold days and the large fits a UHF comfortably.
Thank you my friend! I’m a bit new to all of this and I went from a few winter jackets I have, measured them up and did my best to compare.
I’m hoping the XL will still give me a comfortable fit without looking so bulky. It’s shipped today, so I will receive mid next week and compare the two …

Geepers … I’m only 2” shorter and 40 lbs lighter
Thank you for the sizing info … clearly I’m probably better off with the XL …

@Brandrea when I see the comparison written like that it makes me feel as if I should be jumping on the exercise bike!
It sounds like the XL should be perfect for you. Good luck.

not at all what l meant, but all kidding aside, this deck jacket confounds me …. I’m bound and determined to own one, and I will, regardless of the size.

Here’s what the XXL looks like on me.

@Brandrea ...imo way too big, but fit is down to personal taste and dependant on how you'll wear it. Wool sweaters and you might be good.
Thank you …
Graham already has the next size down en route to Canada!
His opinion as well

@Brandrea no offence taken whatsoever! Definitely worth persevering until you get a jacket you’re happy with.
-
@Brandrea yes, I would agree that looks a little too roomy. Looking forward to the fit pick on the XL.

The XL just arrived … the sleeve length is much better and I think it looks a bit trimmer through the body.
Of course it feels more snug through the chest and shoulders, but not overly so …
What do you think?

Fit looks great man. It’s a keeper
-
@doubletee thank you

-

Thank a lot. I’ve never owned one of these before, so getting the sizing right was a bit tricky. Appreciate your feedback!
