IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
-
@pechelman this version certainly has a lot more heft and is more robust
-
@Mizmazzle Depends how often you're training thumbs in the gym
-
@Mizmazzle jokes aside, it buttons up like any other IH shirt I've tried
-
@AdamJ In the first photo of this it looks like it has a really deep pocket compared to a normal IH work shirt (comparing to my 307 serge), like 1/2" more depth. Am I seeing this right and if so, is it intentional?
-
@pechelman Give me a couple and I'll do a side by side comparison
-
The IHSH-397 is more coarse to touch, heavier and more sturdy than the IHSH-380. I have the latter and have been wearing it in the warm-ish conditions lately and it's been fine. The weave on this one feels tighter yes so I would think it's definitely more suited to the cold seasons. Won't be your next summer vacation shirt
-
@jordanscollected I thought the same...
-
This one is insane. Cannot wait.
-
This fabric looks awesome. Can't help but imagine some other pieces made from it.
-
... or a work vest
-
This as a CPO would be the bees knees
-
Pockets on the work shirt would also do
-
I doubt they would make this into a CPO at anytime since they already made the 389 CPO which falls in between the other 2. Not saying it would be nice to have the 21oz in a CPO version, but I believe they are trying to slim down on a bunch of the same shirts in different cuts.
