Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Just give these guys a logo

@Giles I hate them too. I have forever, but one moment solidified it for me.
In 2018 we honeymooned in Paris. I had purchased 2 small umbrellas in case we got caught in the rain. I had one in my jacket pocket as it started to drizzle on these quaint as fuck brick streets in the La Marais district. This was my romantic moment... Out comes the umbrella, I open it up and the (brand new umbrella's) frame was busted and half collapsed. I tossed it in the nearest bin cursing and we got soaked instead.

I'd never use one, I'd rather get wet, I personally think they are the world's most evil invention. Extremely dangerous when you are my height and the people around you have no spacial awareness….
@jordanscollected @long_john86 This is the completely understandable reason for @Giles dislike of umbrellas.
-
@goosehd @Giles Haha I thought this may have been a well trodden path!
As one of my colleagues has remarked who also hates umbrellas: “put your hood up!”
I do like a cheeky umbrella in the bag though, especially if I don’t want to wear an ‘outer’ layer but need a bit of insurance against the ‘sunny Manchester’ weather. It’s grim up North, as they say… but it’s our grim
-
@long_john86 you are definitely right about “sunny Manchester”…. I live sort of halfway between Sheffield and Doncaster so the weather is never particularly great but it has absolutely poured it down every time I’ve drove to Manchester to visit Rivet & Hide you guys really do have your own weather system!
-
@DeeDee85 haha yep bang on. Every outing involves being covered for multiple weather scenarios!
-
@long_john86 hence the umbrella request is very understandle
-
@Giles worse than Manchester?!
-
@Giles I think most of the UK is pretty grim at the minute isn’t it, I work on roofs so maybe see a little too much of the wet stuff through the winter.. still hoping to make it to the party so fingers crossed we can continue this very English conversation about who gets the worst weather in person

@Giles too wet and windy?
I really don't mind the rain, but sometimes the constant wind can get to me........
In the UK, our prevailing winds are south-westerlies coming in off the Atlantic. So the wind is predominantly wet and when it hits land and rises, it dumps.
South-westerlies get funnelled up the Solent.......This is now and the white dot is us......
The winds are very light at the mo, which is good as we are taking SAKURA away for a couple of days with friends....
