Glad it was an XL lol

@agardnerf wow that shirt looks fantastic on a human.
-
Outstanding @agardnerf ! I will be queuing up for this one.

I am really looking forward to this shirt. I only had a cpo once a couple years ago, so I am wondering if it's common to go with your UHF or western size if you want to layer over other shirts or size up? I know it all depends on the measurements in the end but whats your experience?
-
@FlavourFade , My CPOs are the same size as my work shirts, and one size down from my westerns. As always though, the size chart tells the details.
-
My experience has been regular size for layering and one size down as a regular shirt - However it is a dream when the regular size works for both.
Refference I am XL in UHFs:
IHSH-331 - XL - perfect for layering - too big as just a shirt
IHSH-306 - XL - works perfect for both
IHSH-189 - Large - Can just squeeze a jumper underneath it so technically great for both but works more as a shirt shirt
IHSH-292 - Large as a shirt, XL as an over shirt - not really interchangeable.I would decide primary function initially and then hope that it works for both.

@FlavourFade, shoulders and P2P are my main focus. I need full mobility in my arms, as my job is very physical, and I wear most of my IH when doing manual labor on the homestead. I'm not one to go for the more "form fitting/professional" style that I see on here, so the arm/chest area where I pay most attention too.

Sounds like the work version is better for you.

@FlavourFade I have had occasions when buying a CPO where the same UHF size is a tad too small for layering, but the size up is perhaps a bit too big overall. In that scenario I have had good results with buying the size up and hot washing… not that this needs to get any more complicated
If I can’t make my mind up with this one I will probably attempt to buy 2 sizes and send one back. Conscious there isn’t much give in the duck!
