@Daniel-San hope thescan will show nothing bad mate! And what a €&$>£*^ who smashed those bottles..
-
No extra tube or patch kit with you? What did you do?
-
@Nik
called my wife to pick me up
Never had a problem before ,cause the roads here are good . And it should have been a short ride of max 30 km do I wasn’t prepared. -
Yes, I hope the scan has positive results @Daniel-San. If not, what size frame is that? 🫣

Just in case someone is looking for a new gravel bike . contact me.
-
@goosehd it’s a Scott Addict RC 15, 7.6kg, 35mm carbon wheels, Ultegra DI2 12 speed, Favero Assioma power pedals, profile design aero bar clip ons for Triathlon Training.
Wasn’t yet ready to shell out big money for a full TT bike and since I live close to the alps I wanted a bike that could still climb well. I am not sure about the gearing yet. It came with a 52/36 11-30 setup. For the steep climbs I might have to grind a bit or increase my FTP .Only did one 50km ride (a little bit over 30miles) yet. The bike is fast and electronically shifting is so so smooth.

@Daniel-San it’s not a roadmachine with gravel tyres isn’t it?
-
@Dmart
no it’s the Kaius 01 from BMC . -
@Daniel-San nice one, yours? I’ve ridden a Teammachine and a Timemachine, both amazing bikes.
A store here in Zurich has Basso bikes, I love their frames, things of beauty, but I would love to have an Enve Melee. -
The Scott looks great @Dmart I’ve got an addict rc with mechanical ultegra and I love the frame.
@Daniel-San what size is the gravel bike? Looks nice? -
@Dmart
had a teammachine SLR01 and a timemachine road 01 one .
The S-Works is even better
Started to build the Kaius , but a few things changed and I want to sell it now. -
@Daniel-San I can imagine. S-Works Tarmac is a holy grail but that price tag Will be interesting to see the SL8 version.
@Nik It‘s really a great bike. I was looking at the foil as well. -
@goosehd I have a Moots Baxter drop bar MTB, great bike. I was lucky to have picked up a standard off the peg frame that was pre owned. I am a fairly normal sized human and don't tend to need custom frame geometries, I can make most standard frames work for me with a correctly sized stem and bar. Therefore I can't really give any meaningful insight into the full blown custom order process with Moots. I would say that a lot of that process will be down to how good the dealer is and how much experience they have with custom fit stuff. Sounds like the dealer you went to ended up being a bit of a carry on. If you are going to be dropping top dollar on a custom Moots then the dealership service / advice needs to be without fault.
