SOCKS

Yes really… what kinda socks do you peeps generally wear? I always just wear cheapy white hanes athletic socks but wearing dry denim cuffed with low top shoes has made me stop in the mirror when i catch a glimpse of my jeans rising up over my shoes and say... wow that looks kinda dumb. If only i wore darker/different socks... hahah

i wear wool socks just about exclusively…

Been wearing Gold Toe Socks since I can remember. Something fr every occasion without compromising comfort. I also like different knit socks with lots of color as a nice change from White or Black.

Nice! Good to know we are even more similar than we thought before. You have impeccable taste my friend…

Oh shite… i think the Gold Toe may be what i've been looking for... affordable too at first glance. Which model do you guys wear? It's starting to get hot in San Diego already... (if you can call 85 hot haha) so i don't want anything that are gonna make me sweat. Like what's the diff between the cotton and casual crew?
**Man i love this forum... posting a question like this anywhere else would prob just result in tons-o-flame. haha

hey guys!
these are top notch socks (but a little expensive). i get the superheavy tube socks all the time in bulk.

now then, now then guyz n galz
I always wear woolen socks - all through the year (just like Stever?)
I think these are about the best I've ever had for boots - very comfy, very toasty
but I really like the thorlo sport sock for general casual, and smartwool sock for my hillwaking

I was just thinking how there should be a sock thread on the forum, and look what just popped up. I agree that gold toe makes a great affordable sock but I find the durability of them not so great. IMO Smartwool makes the best socks you can put your feet into, Keen makes a very close second. Both offer different weights for whatever climate/season you find yourself in.

nothing special but i like American Apparel socks. i usually go with the knee length ones. in my experience AA socks don't become quitters as quickly as others. they arent very thick though.
