Our Cars (dream or actual)

Have you considered renting a garage close to where you live? You may be surprised and find availability close to your home.
Like rocking-horse shit

Thank you, it was a little tongue in cheek, but that is a really good price.
But, this is Gosport, I'd back that in there once, go back the next day, and it would be gone
I really need it here or at the office….....
Start a car storage facility business…
@den1mhead keep us updated on the progress..

just in case that becomes a reality, this will be really handy for maximising space..

^^^^^I would love to have that just to organize the garage better. When we built our house, the builder joked that people's biggest regret was not making the garage big enough. I laughed and said that we would never fill it.
I was so horribly wrong. Kids bikes, toys, my toys, lawn care, shelving,…

An old friend of mine inherited a 1970 Stingray convertible back in ~2000. He didn't know how to drive a manual so I had the opportunity to run some gas through it and put it through it's paces. It was a blast but I'd definitely go with a hardtop if the opportunity arose. Is that a manual or auto, @Giles?

Do you have space for a freestanding Carport type structure? Wouldn’t eliminate the elements, but it would keep rain off and the tires from getting too much sun…
He's in the UK; I don't think "too much sun" would be a concern.

I don't think they're that difficult to install if you have or could increase the height in the garage. those are one of the simplest solutions. I've seen many others that include going below ground level etc for storage oraganisation with vehicles..
they are also getting more common these days with the rise of YouTube car enthusiasts that own multiple vehicles. if you watch Matt Farah from the smoking tyre, he's got a new car storage facility business in LA with a similar stacker that can go about 4/5 car upwards per bay..

@louisbosco Thanks for that info. I started down the rabbit hole last night and discovered all kinds of shelving options suspended from the ceiling. I really am looking to free up the floor space and just need to organize better.
It's the story of my life.

@The Web Minions put one in recently….

Ha! Thanks @Giles
The four poster has locking holes on every post in case of hydraulic failure. It's resting on those right now.
I wonder what fail protection is on the scissor lift, not clear by the photos.Dream car? Hmm….am I only allowed one?

Of course….
Decisions…decisions....
Bugatti Type 57 Atlantique and a nice Trilby.
Or the 1989 Batman movie car. Turning circle is a bit wide on those though, other than that completely practical of course.

@goosehd the problem with things hanging from the ceiling is that it needs to be load rated, depending on what the uses are for. another option is a 'modular' wall, kinda like what retail spaces use that can be moved and adjusted based on your needs. not exactly sure what the correct name is for it but it usually consists of holes to hang and move bars and sorts.
@The Web Minions damn that fat arse on the supra looks lovely.. tuned I supposed?
that Bugatti reminds me of the car red skull drove in captain America, one fit for a villain

Thanks. Mostly returned to stock now aside from decat pipes, Ohlin suspension, TRD braces, few other bits and bobs. Wish it was worth in the UK what they're worth in the USA.

what are they worth in the uk? most importantly, what are the specs? a supra with the right spec sheet is worth more than a few quid..
